This is definitely one of the most unique beer stores I have ever set foot in. Upon first entry, place is a small bustling restaurant with a handful of mostly filled tables. There is a small bar with a couple open seats. Draft beer selection was fantastic, granted, most of them were for the hopheads like myself. Food was even better. Perfect place to stop for lunch, and maybe some casual beer shopping. Selection was very haphazard, but some nice finds on the shelf. It was obvious the owners truly appreciated their beer and made an effort to order nothing but the best. There may have been a few poor choices amongst the shelves, but hey, who doesn’t have some crappy beer on their shelves?! Workers were all extraordinary friendly, and made for a very welcomed environment. Disappointed I won’t be able to stop by here more often!

I’ve been here a number of times over the last five years. Sandwiches are great, the Bernie especially. The Bernie is wildly overpriced but excellent. The beers on tap are always top notch and some of the best in OC. Again, wildly overpriced. The beers in the cooler are slightly overpriced but not nearly as bad when you consider you often can’t find the beers anywhere else in the area. I still love coming back but can’t make it a habit based on the prices.

Cool, old school deli near the Bruery Provisions store. They have a giant open cooler on the side of the store with hundreds of beers as well as a good number of taps. There wasn’t anything particularly interesting when I was there, but I thought it was freaking cool that you can get some draft beer at a deli. The bottle selection was very good. They seem to specialize in good German imports. I stocked up on some good dopplebocks and dunkels. I didn’t get any food here. Nice place.

This is a local German style deli and beer store located in Orange, CA run by The Hollingshead family. You cannot find a more specifically unique draft list, with everything from small allocations from Lagunitas and Bear Republic to hard to find sours and high quality European exports. The food is fantastic, especially the turkey and avocado on squaw or the italian sandwiches. The service is unquestionably knowledgable, and your a stranger only but once.The only down side is the prices. They can be a bit steep. However, this is a great establshiment and certainly one of the best in orange county.

I’d love a sandwich place like this nearby. Good selection of beer, though its primarily German, Belgian, and local. That’s still a pretty good selection though.

One of my favorite places in Orange county for food and high quality beer. Great sandwiches, but the beer selection is unbelievable. They keep a smaller tap than other places, but the tap selection is rare (AleSmith, Russian River, etc.). It’s a small place, and you might not find a seat, but that adds to its ambiance. Family ran and friendly service.

Small gem in the O.C. Good sandwiches but let’s face it you come here for the beer. The night we came they had Knuckle Sandwich, Blind Pig, Stoic and Lost Coast 8 Ball Stout all on tap along with some other winter seasonals. Friendly service makes for a great place to stop in for a cold one.

Cozy little deli with friendly staff, a nice tap selection, and a solid in-store offering of bottles. Pretty nice to have a place like this in the middle of the cookie cutter OC. Definitiely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

What a cool place - nice little deli with amazing sandwiches and killer beer selection both in bottles and on tap. I had a Devil sandwich with a Pliny the Elder on tap (my 3rd ever). Ended up buying a couple of bottles to take home as well. The staff were incredibly charming and I love that instead of giving your name or taking a number they assign you a beer and that’s how your order is called. We need a place like this in Dallas badly.
