I was there on opening day and make a point to go at least twice a month to stock up. The variety, inventory and fact that they let you mix six packs and buy singles is a huge reason to visit them over Greens or Tower if you want to try new things. The owner Kraig Torres has hired a bunch of beer geeks so the staff is extremely knowledgeable. In addition to beer they have wine (yawn), plenty of homebrewing supplies and even have a monthly homebrewing class. Other events include weekly beer tastings at nearby Octane Coffee or Five Seasons Westside. Hop City was the first store in Atlanta to sell growlers which continues to be a big draw. My only complaint is that because the growlers are so popular I canít always get there before the beer I want switches out.

Pretty solid store if I might say so. They have a number of shelves with single bottles (mostly 22 oz/750ml, but some smaller formats) along with coolers full of six packs and the like. Huge variety of styles from breweries all over the US and the world. Canít really even begin to name them all here.

In addition, they also have a huge bar for growler fills and the prices are quite good for both the fills and the containers. I ended up getting a Creature Comforts 32 oz. growler.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff here, which make the store even better. Definitely worth a stop and basically right next door to 5 Seasons Westside.

This place is gold. Solid selection, very generous staff, very well organized, convenient area, and great prices. What else can you ask for?

Stopped in while in town and found some nice barrel aged beers I havenít seen down in Florida like Ride the Lion, BA Narwhal, London Balling, and Brooklyn Hand & Seal. Also had plenty of Tilquin Gueuze and Quetsche, among many locals and other great brews. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and a big growler station as well. Looked like some brewing supplies next to the growler station, and a nice big selection of wine, too. I can see why this place is highly rated. Definitely recommended for a stop-in.

This place is amazing. They have so much to choose from I couldnít even make up my mind. And Iím used to great selection. The prices were right. The service was pretty nice and knowledgeable. Canít wait to go back. Will have to save up some money first as there is just too much to try and narrow it down with any budget in mind.

Large shop with tons of room and airy. Always asked for help by people who knew thier stuff. Huge selection of beers and 60 growlers. This place is heavenly, better than anything I have ever seen.

Great place to pick up a mixed six pack of southeastern beers. I was ecstatic to pick up three Westbrook beers from SC. Fairly large selection overall with a pretty good mix of US and overseas. Friendly enough service. I would definitely stop here again. Prices seemed very reasonable.

Hands down the best selection in Atlanta. I wish they did a few more single bottles but you can break a 6-pack if there is something specific you are looking for. I just try to not do that. Staff is knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me find a few things. Beer is organized in isles by style which is helpful when browsing. Iíd be here all the time if it wasnít a 40 min drive from me.

Ambience is a little industrial ( oh god I sound like a hipster). But beer and wine everywhere. Service was really good. Got asked a couple of times if I was looking for anything in particular. I can support that. Couldnít really get much better for selection. A good amount of all styles. Value was on par with other locations sometimes cheaper. (Donít read this and change please!!!) When you leave with a box something is going right. No doubt one of the best beer stores Iíve been in.

A small store but it is packed full of Craft Beer with a great selection. It takes a long time to walk up and down the tight isles and see everything they have. Great selection in their Growler Bar as well. Probably my favorite craft beer store.

Large liquor store with small isles, but definitely specializing in craft beer. Selection was awesome, being from Florida, so much awesome stuff you canít find down here. Service was great, knowledgeable and helpful. Value seemed reasonable for the area. And conveniently located next to a 5 Seasons, so if youíre only in town for a little bit, an easy 1-2 punch.
