This is THE place to buy beer in Atlanta! Beers are arranged by type so you can easily find what sort you like best - stouts, IPAs or whatever. They have a lot of beers that I have never seen anywhere else in the Atlanta area. The employees are very helpful and well trained but not intrusive, and will quickly guide you to the sort of brews you are seeking. They are also very efficient at the cash register, and you can join a free club to get discounts on your purchases. Finally, parking is plentiful and they are easy to find. I will visit this place again and again and again.

Stopped by here in mid June 2010. Has the feel of a Crate and Barrel - lots of light and high ceilings - but it is crowded - but it is crowded because there is so much damn beer in here! At least twenty four fifteen or so foot long aisles of beer stacked at last six feet high. Categorized by country for the most part with a section of new arrivals up by the register. There is a small section of small singles - wished it was a little larger - but not like their wasnít literally a thousand bombers to choose from. No region of the US was left out of the equation. Did not really see a lot of odd foreign stuff (for those of us tickers who will buy something from Malta just because they have not rated it). Staff was friendly and helpful and catered to beer geeks - not overbearing though. Prices were reasonable - considering the location in Westside Atlanta in a upscale shopping center. Will be a regular stop on trips to and through Atlanta.

Large well-lit store with tons of options. Excellent and varied selection of American beer with many imports, but none that seemed very interesting in the import category. Staff was very helpful and took the time to walk me around the store pointing out the local highlights. Cool option to fill 32 and 64oz. growlers. Five bucks for the glass isnít terrible, but bring your own. The excitement at this store is definitely on tap.

does ~1700 beers with 16 growler taps and knowledgeable personnel say enough? .... It should.

Absolutely great store for beer, wine and homebrewing. Just added growlers to the store which make it even better. Sales staff knows it all and is always looking to help. The selections is the largest in atlatna. Just wish I lived closer!

One of my favorite places to go and waste 45 minutes. The place is not large by any means, but they pack in some of the best beers in the world in the place. If its new, youíll find it here. Plus, they are currently the only place in Atlanta that serves up growlers. Staff is extremely knowledge. Simply, a beer lovers destination.

A nice little place right next to Ga Tech. Half the store is Beer, half is Wine. No liquor from what I could tell. Bruery, Founders, Great Divide, Left Hand were all represented. The workers were all extremely nice and helpful. Sign up for their Facebook page, constant updates about new events and arrivals.

Hop City is a great beer store. The selection is world class and the staff are highly knowledgeable and always willing to talk about beer. The growler section is incredible with close to sixty taps to choose from. The only problem I have, as I do with most beer stores in major metro areas is that the highly sought after beers are nowhere to be found. If youíre not there the day of release then you might as well not even ask. This isnít the storeís fault, Iím just jealous I donít live closer.

Well here it is: the new best beer store in Atlanta. Prices are rock bottom for the products. All the beer is arranged by style, rather than by brewer which makes browsing interesting. The selection is massive with beers I havenít seen elsewhere in town. Not much space at all is wasted on crap. Beers are not generally available in singles. Staff seemed knowledgable as they talked about the beers. I will obviously return.
