I drove past this place enough times on the way home from work. I descided to stop by and give it a shot. Chatted with the owner and brewer and had great service. Prices may be a bit on the high side but the beers are solid. Looking forward to them having pints for sale.

I enjoy going to this place. The place is not impressive to eyes but it is very chill. I like sampling the drinkable brews made with quality ingredients. The owner is there to answer any questions you have. The owner is easy to chat with and its a pleasure to see him talk about the business or brewing.
As for prices its very reasonable for local craft beer. There seems to be only 4-5 taps running as of now. Overall a good establishment and a place that I will be returning to.

A brand new brewery in Pittsburgh. I believe these guys started out growing their own hops for sale and have now branched out to brewing their own beer. So far they feature 3 beers, an IPA, nut brown, and saison, with occasional adjustments on these base beers (ie they have been pouring some of them through a hop rocket with a different arrangement of hops each time, or the addition of black currant to the saison). There is a very open space in the store, enough to fit plenty of people (although I doubt that is necessary). The counter is set up like a bar so you can hang out for a little and sample the beers. They pour fairly generous samples. Growler prices are very reasonable, $11 each (a little more for any specialty beers). So far the beers are great and I canít wait to see what else this brewery can do.

I like it that Pittsburgh is finally getting lots of nano breweries that open up on the main street. This place reminded me of seven suns down in florida. A simple gathering place for growlers and samples to try. Just a simple bar in a storefront, brewing equipment in back storeroom. Very friendly owner. Looking forward to the variety of beers that may be available here.

Opening day! Ambiance is big open room with small decor and a standing bar. Service was great, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Selection was small and it was the first day, but great beers. Big sample pours and nicely priced growlers of good beer. Definitely a worthwhile stop in Pittsburgh.
