62 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20
my brother in law brought me here while we visted him, good choice. combination store/bar/restaurant. It use to be a cooffe shop, but that wasn’t making it so decided to make it a tasting bar as they called it As you walk in bar on right, about 6 or 8 seat, the bottle shop in front of you, restaurant is off to the right past the bar. it was a slow afternoon so it was easy to get service, no idea how it is when and if it gets busy. 6 taps, I didn’t count the bottles, but good enough selection, traditional larger craft brewers and some smaller NY crafts available. on tap this day were Capt Lawrence Abbey Dubbel and Belgian pale ale, Lake Placid Hefe, Magic Hat touring ipa, an Otter Creek and a Widmer black ipa. They source as much local foood as they can. We split a ploughman lunch with local cheeses and meats. Was very good. nothing fancy but you get to talk to some locals and it was a interesting mix of folks who came through. You wouldn’t go out of your way for, but somehow if your in the area, check it out.
