Great beer bar! I think it’s the best brewpub in Berlin. The ambiance is very nice! 5 beers on tap, must visit!

Five beers on tap, including the seasonal Roggen. Fair prices. Music was nerve-racking.

The best brewpub in Berlin. 4 beers that were all great. Amazing Pils, Dunkel and Tettnanger Hell. Average Weizen and 1 poor cider. Reasonable prices and great atmosphere. Top of the pops in Berlin.

Nice little brewpub. Had a nice hoppy lager that was the todays special, a berlinerweisse and a pilsner i did not try. Pretty small and pretty full. The beers was overall ok and worth a visit for a night if ur in town.

Visited several times, first time when I took part in Berlin Marathon. Smaller, very cosy pub with friendly staff and some great beers from their own brewing plant, which is placed in the pub. They do both regulars and season beers, most times in a good condition. At times their big, old dog goes around saying hello to people, and take a nap at your feet. They do snack food, cosy place I would love to visit again...

Cool small brewpub with a small but nice selection of their own beers and ciders. Had a long talk with the owner/head brewer and he showed us around. Also hostel above the bar.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Looks quite small from the entrance, but has a somewhat bigger room in the back. Interior is moderate, not much decoration, a bit new-looking. Had one beer, and then they urged us to shut up because they were about to watch Tatort, a German crime-series that’s on national television. It was announced at the door, but I still found this to be quite rude. Anyhow, would visit again, but not on a Sunday.

Visited H&B early on a Monday night October ’10, so fairly quiet, but still a few people in (and the house dog who was a lovely old fella!). All house beers were ’decent’ enough and we sampled Dunkels and Pils (and ...) the Cider. not a cider person but the manager insisted we sampled it (as it was made from English apples) and it was really good, so much so we purchased a 2 litre take out to drink on the way to the airport :P The food we had was decent rustic cheeses, meat and bread and great vfm ! They also have accomodation upstairs which seems really reasonable price wise (self catering). Friendly place.

This Brewpub is the home of the Fanclub "Berliner Fohlen" from the team of Borussia Mönchengladbach. They have good beers and most time one interesting saisonal beer on Tap, also they have a nice Cider on Tap. I met cool people in this Pub and the Stuff was also very friendly. If I came back to berlin I will be at Hops & Barley again for sure!
