Pretty great - nice chilled atmosphere, not too trendy, nice localish vibe, music not too load, good selection of bottles and they sell bottles too. De Molen, Kernel, MIkkeller, Wierd Beard, etc. Standards option is 25% off the bar price, although they had a specials board with 50% off - although one I got was just past the sell-by date which wasnít mentioned.

A traditional street corner pub which has been updated and restored very nicely so that it feels homely and comfortable, with settees and coffee tables and a small enclosed patio at the side. Itís listed here as a brewpub but hasnít started brewing yet as far as I know. Nevertheless it has a pretty good selection of interesting craft beers from other breweries. Well worth a visit. A corner pub with a really nice feeling, friendly and patient service, good selection - at least during the IPA festival - and decent prices. At least as far as London goes. A lot of stuff on keg & cask as well as bottles.

Good local pub. One that works very well with what it does. Not a huge selection and not too many unusual brews on but a good vibe and nice staff. Somewhere to go it you are in the area or on a crawl. Lots of interesting bottles but not enough lines to compete with the more specialist pubs in the area. All said well worth a drop in.

A nice corner pub. Solid beer range but nothing to distinguish it over the heavy hitters of the London beer pubs. The range includes beers from London breweries, which is good to see, in addition to stuff from the USA, Belgium, Netherlands and around the UK. Not inexpensive. Upscale pub grup on offer - stuff like olives, cheese board, toasties, etc. Nice vibe, pretty low key, good music, fine service. Would make for a decent local, but a destination pub it is not.

Canít say I agree with the previous reviewer. There may be other pubs in London offering similar beers, but Londonís a big place! And pubs offering such a varied and interesting range on tap are few and far between. This is a great addition to the locality and they do beers that are not easy to come by in the vicinity. So Iíd say far from íinessentialí (a strange comment to make - surely decent pubs are an essential, no matter where and how many?) if you live in the area. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable barman. Canít comment on the food, but itís nice to have a pub that has a decent offering but hasnít been turned into the usual gastropub at the expense of the beer.

Refurbished corner boozer thatís embraced craft beer. Reasonably comfortable seating, high ceilings. The selectionís pretty big, but you could find most of what they offer at 50 other pubs in the city. Brodies Peach Sour was the only new beer for me. Prices were pretty high for such a low ABV offering. The food was cheap, but nothing to write home about. The pork pie I ate had obviously just come out of the fridge, a mild annoyance. Overall, thereís really no reason to come out of your way to drink here. Londonís such a great city for beer that this place is inessential.
