A super crowded (on a Saturday night) restaurant that has an awesome tap list of some real hard to find whales. The decor was nothing special. It was so busy and there was nowhere to sit or stand so we left after just the one beer. I would return though but hopefully on a quieter night.

Great food, great service and a simply bad ass tap list. Great place.

Stopped in on the recommendation of Steve_0 - thanks! Pretty nice place with a bar and a decent number of tables. Pizza is pretty good, taplist was fantastic, but it was souped up for GABF I am sure. Service was pretty darn good, I think I had like four different folks waiting on me at some point. Definitely deserving of its rating. 3 oz tasters were $2, and prices in general seemed very reasonable.

Located on Tennyson street which seems like one of the coolest blocks in Denver, Hops and pie has a real neighborhood feel and unlike many of the places on this street they have their own parking lot. They had 20 taps of mostly local stuff mainly from the smaller breweries. Stuff that isnít available everywhere. They also do a pretty solid pizza as well. Prices are typical for a big city. But again thereís as much fun to be had people watching as drinking good beer.

Canít believe Iíve never rated this...weíre here weekly since Iím lucky enough to have this in my íhood. One of the best places in town. Constantly rotating taps and great bottle selection with awesome regular tap takeovers including stuff you canít even buy in CO: Cigar City, Sun King, Firestone, Fifty/Fifty, Green Flash, to name a few. Great pizza, super friendly staff. A bit pricey, but fair. One of the top beer places in Denver, which is saying a lot. Best thing about this place is the variety of out of state stuff they get.

Very interesting draft menu with a number of rare offerings. Also a nice bottle menu and great pizza. Worth visiting more than once.

Place has a nice vibe, albeit a bit noisy. The beer list is not huge, but a lot of selections you wont find at many other place. They even have their own house pale ale that Strange Brewing brews for them. Pizza is delicious and the Mac & Cheese is amazing!. It is also one of the only spots in town, besides breweries, where you can get tasters of anything on tap. Nice bottle selection, but most are way over priced. Overall, this place is a great place to grab a beer and definitely one of the best beer spots in town.

Finally got to try out this place after hearing some rave reviews. The pizza wasnít bad, though I can kind of see the criticism. Definitely not bad by any means, but the crust is kind of unique. The Mac and Cheese is supposedly out of this world, so I will be trying that next time. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is present and helpful. As for the beer selection, they really do a good job bringing in unique brews and rotating them often. The pints were a bit high priced, but itís hard to argue when you wouldnít have been able to otherwise try some of the beers on tap in Colorado. Recommended.

A nice, cramped place in the middle of Denver suberbia. The beers were varied and thoughtful, though a bit high-priced, more so so than Chrisí groupie prices at Falling Rock. The food was really good and priced more reasonably. Good service, especially if you are there with a familiar.
