Great beer place. They have vegan pizza! The pizza was awesome. Because of that and awesome craft beer this place rocks. They need more space however because food and craft beer places are popular. My wife and I went here for the Superbowl but it was packed and full of Patroit fans fyi.

Hops & Pie is located on the northwest side of downtown Denver on Tennyson Street. There is a small parking lot next to the building.
The interior of the brightly painted red brick building is cozy, with booth and table seating on the right and the bar on the left. White walls with more red to accent. Behind the bar is a board listing the beers on tap.
Hops & Pie has 20 beers on tap including a house brand called Hops And Pie PA brewed by Strange Brewing. Other breweries on draught during my visit included Prairie Artisan Ales, Russian River, Funkwerks and Epic. Many bottles as well including a Reserve List with breweries like Boulevard, Trinity and Lost Abbey.
Service on a busy weekday evening at the bar was good. I didnít have to wait too long to snag a seat, and the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable.
As for the "Pie" part, my pizza was amazing to the point that I ate the entire small and made myself ill.
Overall this is a great spot in Denver for both a great meal and solid beer list.

A location separated as bar and restaraunt in a quaint part of town. Service was great and beer selection big, with some rare beers. Small pours and samples as well as growlers available. Food was great but a bit pricey. Overall a great place.

Awesome pizza. Great tap list. Always crowded as hell and not easy to get a place to sit down. Prices are very reasonable.

Nice little place in Highlands area. Pretty decent beer selection that is rotated out pretty regularly. Place is small, so expect long waits and crowded bar on weekends. Service is not the best, bu the food is decent!

Iíve only been here a few times, but they always have great beers on tap, an excellent rotating selection. The pizza is really good too. Quality service and decent value with typical beer restaurant ambiance. It can get it little packed sometimes. Definitely worth a stop, especially if youíre hungry.

Visited for a late dinner on a Wednesday. Two separate rooms, one a dining room, the other a large bar with a handful of bar tables. Draft list was really solid, many options to choose from with selections from Prairie, Port, etc. The pizza I had was tasty, service was attentive and friendly. Good spot to hit if you are on that side of town.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Visited October 12, 2013.
I had heard good things about this place (mostly from BroDNeilsen) so I figured it was worth a shot. Apparently heís been telling everyone else about it too since the place was packed when I got there. I stopped in after the Saturday members-only session of GABF so that may have been part of it but who knows. What I do know is that I forgot my jacket at home before leaving sunny southern California and was on foot here, which was not ideal in mid October up in the mountains, especially as the sun was setting when I arrived.
Inside there is a long bar that makes a U shape and some tables scattered around it along the wall. The beer list wasnít bad admittedly though I didnít see a lot that I hadnít had before. Part of that may be due to the fact that this was my eighth consecutive day bar/brewery hopping in Colorado but another part of that was most assuredly due to the fact that there were some California taps. The food looked good but I didnít eat. The prices were a bit high, service was decent, and over all Iíd consider stopping in again if it was during off-peak hours. Until such a time that I can visit and not have to climb over the people at the bar to even look at a menu I wonít be returning.
