This is a clean modern brewpub / restaurant that offers a full range of brews and serves pretty good food too. The beer is available in pints or taster flights. The pizza was quite tasty.

We had a short stop here when driving to Cartlandia. It was lunch time so it was quite full. I couldnít connect with the waitress so I decided to buy some bottles to go. They only sell packs and bombers. Maybe I have more time and patience next time.

Visited around 6pm on Saturday 08/11/14, this modern split level facility was wedged full of early evening diners.
Concrete floor and pretty spartan decorations this is the kind of place I wouldnít want to stop too long in but the atmosphere was good and we manged to grab the last small table to huddle together at.
15 beers on tap and you could get a tasting flight for all 15 or choose 10, smaller 8oz pours also available.
Service was pretty prompt considering how busy it was.
Happy hour till 6pm, which we just managed to hit and included some good value grazing food, I picked a calzone for 4 bucks. Pizzaís seemed a pretty popular food choice here.
Beer range was solid, a number of different styles represented and we picked up a few tasters from our server along the way depsite how busy it was.
Beer quality is decent enough but no world beaters in their range for me.
In all a decent venue but if you had to choose 5 in PDX this wouldnít make the cut, might just scrape a top 10 spot, but maybe just outside.

came here for some beer last night instead of sitting in my hotel room. Parking is very limited, I was very lucky to get a spot. Pretty large sapce, large bar, additional seating upstairs. Service was pretty good. Selection was about 20 beers and a few ciders on tap. I ordered the pretzels and they were filling. Over all, a pretty decent place that I would come back to if I was in town again.

Located a short bus trip away from downtown Portland, in the SE part of town. A large bike-themed brewpub with 15 taps and one cask. Beers ranged from decent to good, but nothing that special. Didnít try the food here, but the menu looked okay and the prices were decent. Tickers, be prepared that they only offer samplers with either 10 or 15 beers.

Fall 2013 Portland trip: cool place. Construction happening on the left half of the joint (looks like in the picture thatís done now) and tough to park. Bar itself is nice and bartender was good and talked shop. Beers are solid, but not spectacular. Got a bottle to go as well.

Nice if a bit sterile. With all their promotion of green and sustainability, I thought it would reflect more in the bar. Good selection with a few guest taps. Food was decent, all in all a good place but out of the way.

You can kinda tell from the picture that this place is big business. You see their beers everywhere, both bottled and on draft. Theyíre always consistent, and theyíre always sane enough that they have fairly broad appeal. You can take all of that and apply it to the spot, as well--itís big, itís well-run, they donít do anything too crazy but they do it well. Thereís a lot of space here, a long bar with dozens of tables. Big staff. They get slammed, even with all that capacity. Itís friendly for families, beer nerds, buddies having beers. Didnít see a lot of single girls, but that was the only thing that kept it from being a full-on hotspot. Service here is really good; fast and friendly, and one of the waitresses was infatuation-worthy. You can come for the beer or come for the grub. I definitely overheard several customers who clearly werenít hunting beer, they were just having a nice meal out. The food is good, too--chicken tenders, caesars, burgers, pizzas. Nothing too crazy (thatís kind of a theme here). They do have a few kegs on that you donít see everywhere, and theyíre generally good to very good. There are flat screens, usually tuned to the game. There are more ambitious brewers in the area, but few are more consistent, and the brewpub itself is very friendly and thoroughly professional. Definitely coming back.

Awesome family friendly place that can also handle large groups of you friends with no problems. Great all year round with their big back deck or intimate little spaces inside. The food is always rocking, the beers decent with occasional stand-outs. One of my favorite places to take visiting friends.

Wonderful family friendly place. Beer is usually good to very good, and the food is delicious. Typically very busy, as itís perhaps the most "Portland" brewery given its focus on local, organic, and sustainable. Probably a touch too maligned in the city given its different focus, but as a parent, I very much enjoy knowing that I can take my kid here and relax.
