Great tap pub in Greenfield. 72 taps with average to slighly above average selection. Sports on TV with no audio. Music at low levels. Small menu of bar food not reviewed here. Busy to packed usually. .....Draught Selection Rating: -clueless-[AVERAGE]-positive-impressive ...... Im giving them a mixed AVERAGE selection rating -[average beers from average breweries] -with a few notable exceptions. First off they have 72 taps ! That alone is worth alot - but i find most taps filled with run of the mill selections - but with a noteworthy exception - they have an upper set of 16 taps that they devote to a single brewery every month and it it here that you can find some hard to get stuff. If your taste just isnt for that particular brewery then your kinda back to my original rating of average. The other thing they do every so often is a beer tasting nite [bottles or taps] that can really have some nice stuff. With 72 taps i would really like to see more local , hard to get and unique styles! At times far more fruit beers than anyone should have - and at one point this fall i would estimate 80% of the beers were punkin beers - do that again an im lowering the selection rating to clueless ! All in all - with as many taps as they have i usually can find ONE beer i can enjoy. One other thing - without sports audio i question the commitment to being a bona fide sports bar. .....other ratings [* to ****] ..... physical bar **** .... seats ** ..... restrooms * [not good] ..... crowd [more/less crowded] * usually very busy .....bourbon selection ** ..... Note: next door is a place where you can brew your own beer - how cool is that.

I heard about their month long Lagunitas specials on tap and had to check this place out. Tucked away in a small community it was much bigger inside than it appears from the street. Parking is on the street with no large lots anywhere near by. The inside is quite large with 2 large bar areas with plenty of table and chairs. All hardwood floors with two levels and descent restrooms. It also connects with "The Copper Kettle" next door where you can brew your own. From the first impression it appeared I would enjoy my experience but then I got let down a bit. I had planned my visit by downloading the tap list from their website and they just happened to change it that morning. Their month long Lagunitas promo had already depleted several of the beers I had wanted to try. They still had enough that I was able to try 6 different ones. When they brough the samples to out table they showed me the receipt and told me which were which. After tasting them I had to ask because some didn’t match their deScriptions. I was told that they made a mistake in the order and switched #2 with #4. I later found out that the list I ordered was correct just in reverse order. It was initially confusing since I had not tried these beers before and now wasn’t sure which one I was actually drinking. We ordered some nachos to snack on. They have a pretty limited food menu. Not even pizzas. The nachos were fairly small and everything was cold. Simple chips from a bag with cold liquid cheese, a glob of sour cream, and a sprinkling of salsa. Even the pulled pork was cold and was barely visible. All this for $11.00. They have a wide variety of beer on tap and in bottles but it would seem they have too much to keep track of. Most of my questions went unanswered or I was told that everything changed that morning and I should check the lists. This may not be typical of the service here. The amount and variety of beers and the size and comfort of the bar area is worth a visit. I wouldn’t go there to eat a meal but trying out new beers or to watch a game on the several TV’s would be enjoyable. Too bad they didn’t have more parking nearby.

I grew up a few blocks from this place so I was skeptical going into the old "Pickles". Wow! I’m glad I don’t still live in Greenfield or I would be 50lbs heavier. Probably the best beer selection I’ve seen in the area. Too many taps to list and a great bottle selection as well. Food was not great but all I had to choose from was the limited Sunday menu. Great atmosphere.

Ambiance is pretty cool, big horshoe bars with tables all around, and even more tables down the stairs. Service was pretty good, but nothing spectacular, bartending did make sure to rig me up for one more before happy hour, Selection is pretty damn good, with 63 beers on tap, and many I hadn’t had before. Regular prices are hefty, but happy hour is half off and smaller sample can be had for only $2. Certainly worth stopping by if in the area.

What a great location! Very nice Clean looking establishment, 61 taps and plenty of bottles. Service was good with friendly people. the Menu has evolved into a more than older reviews. If you like beer and good slightly upscale bar food, this is your place.

Visited March 30, 2013. Super corner neighbourhood pub with at least 30 taps and loads of bottles. The place was humming on a late March Saturday night, and the servers seemed to have no troubles keeping up with us mobs. Pints tend to go for between 5 and 7 dollars; you can try a generous 4.75 oz. taster for 2 bucks a pop (for most), and they offer Growler service as well. I started with a Yards Philly Pale Ale, then went to the Yards Love and Slyfox O’Reillys Stouts, all Pennsylvania products. I came away with a 6-pack to go, including Founder’s Breakfast Stout, Avalanche Amber, and Atwater Vanilla Java Porter. Take that, Province of Ontario "The Beer Store"!! Highly recommended, and I hope to return for some food next time!

This place is awesome if you are looking for ticks. Tons of beers on draft and in bottles. They offer cheaper sample sizes to try a ton without the hangover. They even have a bunch of cellared beers for purchase. Kind of over priced though.

This place is tucked in Greenfield and looks like any bar in the surrounding Pittsburgh neighborhoods. However, once inside, it is a whole different story. The taps leave a little bit to be desired, but the bottle list, while not stellar, is enough to please most beer aficionados and the price will make all the difference. Bottles here were on average 2 dollars less than most of the other beer bars around Pittsburgh. The food was pretty solid but it was run of the mill bar food. The owner was one of the nicest people I’ve met in awhile. Same goes for the barkeep. The place was clean, new looking, and had a bunch of flat screen TVs.
