great place! could be a little closer to the action of orlando, a little out of the way in a strip mall, but absolutely worth the trip if you love beers and are in the area. theres no better spot. tons of things on tap from around the US and some imports, not a whole lot of ambiance, but who gives a shit when youre there to drink. good staff, didnt chat to the tender, but seemed nice. beers are priced resonably. probably the best beer bar in orlando.

48 of the best import and microbrew draft beer in the world. The decor is simple and elegant with a stainless steel counter top, real brick wall and wood. There is always something going on at night from live music to open art from a DJ to Poker. Average beer is $5.50 which is very reasonable for a great import beer on draft, 34oz Hofbrau Original or Dunkel for $9.00. They also carry some very rare beer like the Stone 09-09-09 and the Left hand St. Vrain. Check the eb site is www.hobflorida.com

I am honestly glad I stopped here on my way home from Orlando. I cannot stress to you how awesome this place is. Atmosphere: The place is small but adequate for the product they have. I’m pretty sure they had wine and liquor but honestly didn’t check as I was only interested in the beer which was around the corner. Quality: GREAT selection. If it is available in Florida these guys do their damndest to get it in. I saw Southern Tier, Terrapin, Victory, Magic Hat and all sorts of other beers. Service: These guys were amazing. The two employees that were there were very engaging and extremely knowledgeable about the product. Even made great recommendations. I left to eat lunch next door and came back to take pictures for my blog and they ended up calling Byron who came down to the store. Very cool! Selection: As I said earlier, EXCELLENT. Perhaps worth skipping anything in the Panhandle to make a trip over here. They showed me the bar next door, Proof and oh my God it was awesome. About 25 beers on tap and they were great. I even saw some Swamp Head beer which is new to the area.

While sometimes the draft selections can grow a bit stale, this is my go-to beer bar. The staff is awesome and very friendly. Good selection and there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance.

Great beers all around, including Milk Stout on Nitro and Cigar City Zhukov. Slightly more upscale feel than a lot of bars, the staff there is reasonably knowledgeable. Food would be nice but there’s a couple places nearby to grab something. They also know how to set up a tap room, and the beer comes out nice and fresh. Good prices too.

It’s a diamond in a strip mall. 48 craft beers on tap (I went with Stone’s Vertical 09-09-09), and 200 refrigerated bottles line up like military soliders behind the bar. I had my first Cigar City ale there (110K+OT!!!) and was so happy I walked out with the bottle. The service is friendly and there’s a huge plasma TV right behind the bar to watch the game. Overall, it’s a great place to chill with friends. I just wish they served food other than potato chips. #24 on 29102009, DG.

Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of their beers. Outstanding selection of taps and a very good bottle list. I also agree the inside is not very comfortable and they need to just get all new chairs with backs on them. Prices were about a buck higher than needed on drafts.

Smallish place off of John Young Parkway. Probably 40 ish things on tap, almost all craft or imports but nothing that stood out as special. I chose the best option, a Bell’s Expedition. It was a pricey... 4 beers were $31. It’s just way to much $ for where it is and nearly doulb what I would pay at Redlight. If I’m in the area it would be a good stop, but I still think Redlight Redlight is the best place in Orlando by far.
