This is definately a place to go if you are around Delhi. Worthwhile the drive, which should take from 30 - 1,5 hours depending on where you stay in Delhi and which time you go there. Staff is very helpfull, and eventhough they don’t have the most impressive selection, the 3 beers I tried at my visits were classes better than the standard pale lagers, you can get all over India. Gurgaon is definately going to be the place to be for a beer guy. Approx. 1 month after this brewpub opened, another brewpub has opened in the area. One could hope, that this trend will spread to other places in India, and based on the number of people in the pub, when I visited, one can only be optimistic about the future for this place.

According to my information this is Indias first brewpub. Itīs located in Delhiīs IT-centre, Gurgaon across the border into the Haryana province. Galaxy Hotel is easily visible from NH-8, so itīs surprisingly easy to find. This cricket themed fairly tiny bar opened itīs doors on Dec 5th this year. There are four beers on tap, all fresh variation on palish laget themes. As usual in India there is plenty of staff to look after you, and the owner was a friendly guy very keen to make this idea work. Perhaps not the most spectacular brewpub in the world, but definitely a huge step up for beer culture in India.
