I can’t believe I hadn’t logged a review of this spot, it has one of the best and most thoughtfully selected set of beer choices in the entire state. You can score Heady Topper and Hill Farmstead, or you can have a very decent range of Belgian Lambics and Saisons. The prices are fair and there’s a ton of fantastic food around. Easily the best place to hit in Montpelier after the Three Penny Taproom. Very friendly beer-stocking staff.

Mon arrêt inévitable chaque fois que je frôle Montpellier quand la pêche à la Crooked stave devient nécessaire. Un mini-wholefoods qui se veut quand même sympathique pour faire le plein.

A big organic-type store with a cooler and a decent sized shelf of craft beers. Get here at the right time and grab a Lawsons bottle! If not, the selection i still pretty decent - Logsdon, Grassroots, Anchorage TDD were all here when I was last here as well as the usual VT offerings. Prices are about average for the state.

Great Vermont style co-op with lots of great products that focus on local and sustainable. Nice seating area overlooking the a rushing waterfall. The beer and wine selection is pretty good. Grabbed some Lawsons, Gigantic and Jester King stuff that is not around in Maine. Nothing to crazy but I was there the week of HFS anniversary so the chances are lots of people just like me had passed through and picked over the weekend selections. Nice comfortable store thats worth the stop if your passing through town !

Looking for Lawsons, but they did have some Heady left, and had an otherwise pretty interesting selection. Other than that, a grocery store.

2013-04-26. Pretty large beer selection, how impressive it is will partly depend on what you are looking for and where you are from. Lots of European stuff that was good, but didn’t really interest us on this trip. Not a ton of rarities when we were there, but I expect that rotates depending on when you are there. Sold out of Lawson’s (apparently they hadn’t delivered due to shortages). We grabbed two four packs of Heady Topper and a few other select bottles. Would probably have bought more but we had loaded up at Hill Farmstead, and I wasn’t sure what else we would find later on our trip. Market itself is pretty nice. Worth poking your head in to check it out if nothing else.

Great selection here. Tons of New England stuff. Highlights include Lawson’s and Heady Topper. But there’s plenty of other stuff to interested seasoned RBers. Prices are decent or maybe a touch high, but it’s somewhat upscale grocery store anyway. It would definitely be worth your while to pop into this place if you’re in the area.

pretty solid selection. lambics, upright, heady topper at times, lawsons once in a while. great prices, significantly cheaper than my local shops (~15%). nice place.

Stopped in here to start my second day in Vermont. I was really surprised by the size of this place, it really feels big once you get inside. Tons of people all over the place doing their daily shopping and eating in the cafe area. Everything in the store feels like it is top quality and the staff was very helpful and offered some suggestions on which beers to get and when the new ones would be arriving. I wish I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet, I would have just eaten here since the food looked really good.
I actually missed the beer area the first time I made my rounds, once I found it I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t picked clean yet. They had 4-5 different Hill Farmsteads, a few different Lawson’s, some four packs of Heady Topper and even some Belgian Lambic’s too boot. I picked up a few bottles and was very happy with the prices. Overall a really nice place to stop and get some bottles while you are in the area, I will definitely return in the future.
