The ABSOLUTE BEST experience I’ve ever had at a bar! ...despite the ridiculous hours. Vintage lambic list is incredible, perhaps only topped by Akkurat and maybe DHVL (but it’s close). Prices are probably the most reasonable in the whole country -- as of May 2013, Hommage was 45€, for example. Atmosphere is just wonderful, with mostly elderly locals comprising the clientele. We arrived early (around 9:40am; opening is 10am), and the owners’ parents greeted us shortly thereafter, inviting us in early. Both the owners and parents were extremely friendly and warm. Accessible by one bus (#128) from Gare du West -- make sure you’re in Belgium on a Sunday so you can visit this amazing place.

Wow, what a genuine place this is! A very cosy, real and honest Lambic bar (if I may call it that). I almost get the feeling that DHVL is somewhat like a tourist trap. The prices are not even that high for rare bottles at this place, specially compared to DHVL and Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Still a 2007 Hommage is €45 and Framboos was €75 (sold out appearantly). Allagash (!) stuff only €10 as some other harder to find beers are between €10 and €40... Most expensive I saw on the vintage list was the Eylenbosch 1984 Geuze for €110... Drafts are normally priced between €2.50 and €3 Very friendly and good service! Can’t say it enough, super place, true pajotten cafe! Perfect vibe! Almost flawless! Best place one can go for Lambic! True to the core!

Worth waking up early and standing in the rain to catch the bus to this place. Small little village and a quiet little bar with friendly staff and locals. Had some really nice sours and a fantastic gueuze cheese. Will visit again!

There is not so much more to add to what previous raters said, great place with a great selection. Service is great and the mix of people; beer geeks, locals and cyclists makes it even more welcoming.

The ultimate lambic experience. Quiet local place in a beautiful village with friendly customers and staff/owner. Service is personalized and presentation is top notch. Great lambic selection at a reasonable price which is rare nowadays. The draught lambic (Girardin) was in amazing shape. I don’t think it can get better than this, I’ll go with a perfect score.

Been here twice, always a great pleasure. The people working here give excellent service and the ambiance is out of this world. Extremely cosy and welcoming. The selection consists of mostly world class lambics and some extremely rare stuff. Some of the rare things are highly priced, but for example Moeder Lambic and DHVL are generally considerably more expensive. Many of the older bottles are really low in price and you can always find some real gems. Both visits have been some of my best pub experiences in my life overall.

The hiddem geem in Belgium. Worlds best lambic bar with lots and lots of old stuff. Actually hade some rea "white whale" beers my last visit. And then I found some american lambics from Allagash. A real surprice! Only open 4 hours a week on sundays.
