Large place with a massive beer selection. Whereas many liquor stores also do beer, this one looks like it does beer first and foremost, and also does liquor. Itís obvous that this collection has taken the staff quite a while to put together. Everything is available as singles, of course, and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. A must stop while in the region.

Easy to find location off 28th street in strip shops with a nice parking lot. The staff was freindly and had good knowledge of beers. Good beer selection with coolers on sides and six packs and singles in the middle. Found new beers. Been coming to area for 10 years, good new find and I will come back

Great selection from the region. I always stop here when Iím in the area, and their prices are usually very reasonable.

A nice selection of Belgians greet you when you enter the store, as does whoever happens to be working behind the counter. The younger guy (who looks like Hodgins from Bones) was very knowledgeable and hooked us up with some cheap glasses so we could drink the beer we had bought earlier in our hotel room. Nice selection of bombers and six packs both state-wide and from regional and national breweries. Singles were a rarity the first trip I made here in March of 2009, but now everything is available as a single! Yeah. Bombers were a bit spendy, but the rest was in-line with stores in the area. Probably my favorite store I visited in Grand Rapids.

Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon in October 2011.
Atmosphere: attractive layout, wine and spirits at the front, beer in the back. We were the only ones in the store so I had plenty of room to move around and browse.
Service: at first the clerk seemed a bit indifferent; however, after we chatted for a while he dug out some fresh Centennial IPA for me and recommended a couple Michigan lagers for my girlfriendís dad (it was his birthday).
Selection: comparable to Sicilianoís and larger than most stores that Iíve come across in the Great Lakes region. I grabbed bottles of Bellís Pale Ale, Oarsman, Lager Beer, and Octoberfest, Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, Founders Curmudgeon and Pale Ale, Shiner Bock, North Coast Brother Thelonious, and Ommegang Three Philosophers, among many other beers. A half-case of singles and two 6-packs came to $48, which is reasonable in my books.
Overall: a great alternative to the competition with very fair prices. Picked up a few gems that I couldnít find elsewhere and left for Graydonís a happy camper. Check this place out.

Good selection, represents Michgan breweries really well and has a lot of interesting beers to choose from. Prices seemed about right. Super friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable service. Typical liquor store decor and ambiance, but it doesnít detract from the experience.

extremely friendly staff (particularly rishi himself) and impressive selection. almost all items are available as singles. i havenít been able to figure out the pricing though. nothing appears to be marked other than bombers. new location features an improved selection, far less clutter, and better organization. prices are the only major difference between here and sicilianos.

solid store, clean and well lit, well organized. help was available for both bourbon and cigars (not for me but i overheard). impressive global selection and nice focus on many obscure midwest beers with concentration on MI brews. very nice place.

Has a similar selection to other beer stores in the area (Siciliano's, B & B) but there is one drawback: the pathetic singles selection. There are only a handful of decent beers available as singles; the rest of the single case is macroswill. On the other hand, International Beverage tends to have a larger stock than the other stores mentioned, so finding six-packs of Dark Horse, Founders, Arcadia, Bells, or Kraftbrau is not a problem. Also has a nice selection of Unibroue, Rogue, and several German and British beers. Good, enthusiastic service.

I wouldn't say this place has the largest selection in town, especially singles, I would say that honor rests with either Woody's in Ada, or Martha's Vineyard, far too pricey. Nothing particularly special about this place, slightly above your average liquor store or a good bit below your best beer store.
