Great little place. Great atmosphere. Plenty of seating. TVs on all the big games. I wasnít there for the games, I was there for the beer. Huge selection on tap and in the bottle. They rotate what they have on selection. Some special rare to find stuff. Great service lady was very friendly. Decent on the price. Smaller food menu. I will be stopping in here again.

Spent this past weekend in St. Louis and this was by far the best beer stop we made. The atmosphere is very laid back. When we visited they had some reps from Stone there and they tapped the 10th Anniversary . Huge bottle selection and 44 taps, all of which were awesome. If you are in town visiting this has to be a must stop. The taps were a tad pricey but it was very much worth it.

It doesnít get much better than this. Huge selection of bottles and taps which change constantly - usually the best selection in St. Louis. The brick restaurant has lots of room inside with an assortment of places to sit including couches and comfy chairs. The outside patio is very large with an interesting fountain. You can bring food with you, order-in, or go to the attached pizza place next door and order. They will bring it to you at the bar. The service is great and the bartenders know a large portion of the "regulars." Events and special pricing is a regular coinsurance here. They also sell bottles to go.

The two things I really loved about this place were the foyer and the patio. This is the best patio that I could see in Soulard, and thatís where most people were on the nice afternoon we came in. The front of the bar has a couple of couches in a circle, partially illuminated by the window. The wall by the door is a mural of their logo made of beer bottle caps. Very nice touch. Concrete floors, very black and kind of dark inside. There are lots of different seating areas though, and it makes it easy to sort of have your own space. A number of TVs throughout the space. Selections seem to change constantly. When we came, the printed menu was outdated and we had to go mostly with what was on the wall. Interesting selection, tending toward local, but putting a lot of good national craft micros as well as a few international ones. I had to go for the Belgian sour. I canít resist. But we had a pint of some local stuff as well. Bartender was extremely generous with the samples after I asked a few questions and let her know I was looking to focus on the local stuff. They do a local $3 pint night, which seems like a great deal and have other specials throughout the week. Food is pizza served by Epic Pizza next door. There was actually a door that connected the two. This place seems to get extremely busy. We came at a random time on a weekend and it was a lot more full than I thought it would be. It would be a great place to sit out on the patio and have a beer on a summer night, but Iím sure other people would have the same idea. Definitely worth a visit though, if just to check out this great neighborhood.

yet another place that has opened in STL since i moved away. an AWESOME bar-great staff, proper glassware and a really cool atmosphere. this is a MUST for those in or visiting STL. One of the best beer bars in the region. I always run into old friends everytime i come back to this place. This IS the go-to beer bar in STL. The Bridge would be second.

A great place to drink, though the patio could be nicer. 500+ beer to choose from with ever-rotating taps. There is a helpful staff and beer guide.

Interesting vibe to the place. Located in the Soulard neighborhood, which apparently has one of the largest Mardi Gras celebrations in the nation. The bar is comfortable with the whole exposed brick, comfy couches, outdoor patio sort of thing. The chairs at the bar were incredibly comfortable. They have over 40 taps and a few hundred bottles. the taps were all craft but nothing to adventurous or rare. the bottles are craft but again not to adventurous. Canít say the service insanely friendly. Nice neighborhood place but I donít think itís as interesting or compelling as the Bridge.

Our first visit to the Soulard location was awesome. Brian helped by allowing us to taste test several of their taps. We sampled several great brews that day and also purchased a few to go. We wish they served food, but understand their situation. A great place to sample many brews that you just canít find anywhere around. We will definitely return and hope to find many new brews.
