excellent beer. Beer brewery in Jax. Particularly fond of Belgian styles. Duuuvel was the standout but Hoppy Belgian close second. Growler fills available. Must ee.

Visited at the RBWG. Industrial taproom with the full brewery in the back. They opened up the taps for us and the beer was quite good. I guess they usually have on a few guest taps. I would come back. Everything I saw was on the $4-$6 range. Delicious.

Visited during the RBWG 2013 bus tour (and again for the Grand Tasting). This place was so hospitable it was silly. The staff was wonderful. The beers here are great and cover a wide range of styles. I’d say Intuition is one of the top breweries in Jacksonville. The place itself is large and airy with a definite industrial feel. Unfortunately I was viciously hungover during the bus tour visit and wasn’t able to try every single beer they had on tap; I did get through the best ones, though. If I get back to Jax this place will be a top priority.

Visited as part of the RBWG bus tour. First stop and they killed it! Super VIP style with free 3-4 oz tasters of everything they had on tap, which was about 15 different beers (all interesting and some very good). Like the open air bar and staff was very helpful and friendly. Def would return for the beer quality alone.

Intuition hosted the RBWG a couple of times this weekend and while I never got around to looking into the regular tasting room, the tasting bar in the main space is really nice. It’s really just a warehouse type space with a long bar next to all the brewing equipment, but the selection is huge and the beer is very good. One of the top two stops on the trip for me. Bartenders were knowledgeable and the guy actually rinsed my tasting glass for me without me having even asked. Really enjoyed this place. A must stop in Jacksonville.

We made 2 stops here during RBWG 2013. This was our first stop in the morning (9am). The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers being served.
The second stop was the grand tasting.
A nice big bar wrapping around the cooler. All of the beers on were solid. One of the best stops of the weekend.

There are actually 2 tasting "rooms" - one that is more like a bar and another that is outside in the brewery. The decor of the first is fairly bland with one TV over the left side of the bar, a few games (board and card games, not video) and a nice collection of beer-related magazines. The other is simply a large bar in the brewery with seating for ~20. There are a few tables and chairs for additional seating and plenty of standing room for larger crowds. As stated already though, the important aspect is the beer and it was outstanding. I was there the afternoon of Christmas Eve and there were about 8-10 customers. I sat at the bar and the service was impeccable. Cali and another friendly barkeeper (sorry, didn’t catch her name) were quite pleasant, attentive and knowledgable about the beer. They had 4 house beers available (Pale, Wheat, Red and Black Rye) as well as 4 guest beers that included Stone, Abita and Cigar City. They were out of their IPA and Imperial Stout. Apparently the owner spent some time making wine in CA and his beers definitely have a west coast flare. The customer beside me at the bar was raving about the IPA so I was a little bummed to have missed it. Pints were $3.50 for the house beers and $4.50 for the guests. Gallon and quart growlers are available in all beers under 8% abv which was everything they had available that day. ($20/gallon, $5/quart) You can buy their empty growlers for $5 or you can bring your own. Of course they have all the typical swag available with their logo but I didn’t price those. All in all it’s a great place to go have a couple beers and take some home too. Parking was ok when I was there but I can see where it could be a challenge on busy days. Definitely a "must" if you are in the area. It’s only 2-3 blocks from Bold City Brewing. Check out both if you can. Bold City has a nicer, more comfortable tasting room but I preferred the beer at Intuition.

Weird place that seems to be in the middle of nowhere. I’m not sure if I entered in the wrong spot or something, but you feel like you’re going into a secret clubhouse and you need to know the knock or something.

I was only there for a little bit, but my service was prompt and knowledgeable.

LOTS of their beers on tap. Compared to the couple other breweries I had been to in Jax previously, I was impressed.

As seems to be the trend in Jax, their beer prices seem high to me.

This seems to be one of the better/best breweries in the area, and seeing as I just moved here, and live nearby, it’s going to be a common stop for me! Let me know if you’re in town!

Visited on a Thursday. Nice warehouse brewery with adjoining tasting room. 20 taps of house beer with another bar in the brewery. Small parking lot, I could see this as a problem on a busy night, but the beer was outstanding. Well above par, and an outstanding environment inside, outside seems a bit shady. A great mix of high and low gravity, styles, and appropriate glassware mixed with the swingtop growlers. My only regret about going was not getting more growlers. Look for me here every time I am in Jax.
