I arrived for the Underdark Imperial Stout release day, expecting a line or craziness, but was pleasantly surprised when I encountered neither. The release was in their brewery, which has it’s own bar and tasting area; very industrial feel with a good amount of seating. There is another tasting room/bar around the front of the building with a more pub feel. Service was very good, all very knowledgeable about their beer and the visiting taps, if not a little laid back and slow to get to you at times. Selection was good, all of their house brews in the front tasting room, with their special brews and visiting beers on in the brewery tasting room. No food, but there was a great food truck there that day. Value is average, what you would expect to pay for their beers, but the visiting ones were a bit pricier. Great brewery and great place to grab some beer in Jacksonville.

Pretty chill tap room , somewhat smal but had like 20 beers and I added 90% of what I had to database. Friendly staff. I will be back.

When I visited: Late March 2014.
What I had: Flight of Intuition Ale Works People’s Pale Ale, Silvertown Ale, Double Elimination IPA, Session Saison, House Boat Kolsch, and Salon Saison.
What I liked: Fun party vibe, had no trouble finding seats at the bar even though there was an event going on, affable service, most of the beers were above average quality, awesome merch display, enjoyed a nice chat with a couple from Indiana, good prices as pints range from $4.50 to $5.50.
What I disliked: Several taps were empty, draught list is hard to see from the bar, while the beers are stellar they fall short of greatness.
Would I go back? For sure. Intuition is a solid brewpub that excels in hoppy and dry beers. Definitely worth a crawl if you’re in the Riverside area.

The entrance is hard to find. The clients seem like friends, not customers. This is a best friendsnbasement in high school. If you had cool friends. The bartender was friendly and helpful. The beer ranged from ok to pretty good. Wish they had a couple guest tapsnanx munchies.

Probably the top brewery in Jacksonville. It is right near a residential area. I went here twice - first time it was quite busy and there was a cornhole tournament going on outside, the second was a quieter Saturday night. The brewery is pretty small, a short bar and a few tables. They have a lot of beers on tap (maybe 15), lighter and heavier styles, all top notch stuff. I got to try a couple sasions, imperial stout, IPA, black IPA, Belgian stout and enjoyed all. If you could only pick one place to stop in Jax, I’d pick this place. They’re not open very late though.

We walked here from Kickbacks in the freezing cold (for FLA anyway). Fairly small taproom was mostly filled. Everyone we talked to was very nice. The brews are solid. Yeah, can’t really go wrong here.

Can be tough to find for an out of towner, but a solid experience is your reward for making the effort.

Nice taprooms, but I heard the warehouse one is no longer functioning. Very friendly service who definitely know their beers. Always a good amount of their stuff and rotating one off and seasonals. Probably the best brewery in Jacksonville.

Right down the street from Kickback’s, so was glad to stop by on a recent visit to town. Tucked back off the street, cool little mini-warehouse vibe, seems almost like the kind of place you’d go see a show as much as a brewpub. Pretty mixed crowd, not the hipster saturation some have described. Unvarnished and unpretentious in both decor and service - good thing, and I enjoyed my chats with the bartender, who was knowledgeable and generous with samples. Beers I tried were solid to excellent. Wish I had had more time but certainly a very positive impression. Would definitely go back if ever in town.

Visited during the RBWG 2013 bus tour (and again for the Grand Tasting). This place was so hospitable it was silly. The staff was wonderful. The beers here are great and cover a wide range of styles. I’d say Intuition is one of the top breweries in Jacksonville. The place itself is large and airy with a definite industrial feel. Unfortunately I was viciously hungover during the bus tour visit and wasn’t able to try every single beer they had on tap; I did get through the best ones, though. If I get back to Jax this place will be a top priority.

Visited as part of the RBWG bus tour. First stop and they killed it! Super VIP style with free 3-4 oz tasters of everything they had on tap, which was about 15 different beers (all interesting and some very good). Like the open air bar and staff was very helpful and friendly. Def would return for the beer quality alone.
