Last time was in the so called Belgians still taste all the same. There are winners here though. You think its a brewery how about special beer, 1 offs, casks, cheaper prices but nope. they all need to visit Cigar city and learn from the best in Florida. The bad: parking. you park your car and prey your car is there when you leave. to say its in a dodgy part of town is a understatement. I been hit up for money twice on leaving the place, its sad, but they need to fence in and pave the parking. If it rains get ready to get muddy.*AUG 2011: I was told they have gotten security now, one hopes so. the good part: if your a hop head this is the place for you if you don’t mind overpriced 14oz drafts, you think @ the brewery the beer be cheap, but you be wrong, AND while at grand opening the stout was a full shaker pint, now they claim its somewhere between 7.5% and up ABV, (no1 knows for sure). anyway you get a half pour of that now. again if you love hoppy west cost beers this place is in your wheel house, me I was hoping for something different brewery wise. I was hoping for Belgian like beer, if you are don’t waste your time here, all the beers are over hopped for the style IMHO. AUG 2011: anyway the prices are now 4 bucks a pint so that is good, for most of the beers anyway. the Sasion was not bad and not as hoppy, the alt was also semi balanced. Service: @ the bar well since there were only 4 or 5 folks there it was good. AUG 2011 we opened the place so service was as good as it gets. But as 5pm happened it go so crowded service was slightly off until the extra bartender showed p. r. selection: well maybe 5-7 beers, 2 were out atm, that was back in March 2011, in June they had 8 taps but again 2 were off. Aug 2011: 9-10 taps I think. food: is BYOB, or pay thru nose for some overpriced pizza on weekends. OVERALL: best tap room in town atm, beers will hopefully get better and better. I want to try that dubbel and everytime I am there I beg for a tripel, lol

I arrived for the Underdark Imperial Stout release day, expecting a line or craziness, but was pleasantly surprised when I encountered neither. The release was in their brewery, which has it’s own bar and tasting area; very industrial feel with a good amount of seating. There is another tasting room/bar around the front of the building with a more pub feel. Service was very good, all very knowledgeable about their beer and the visiting taps, if not a little laid back and slow to get to you at times. Selection was good, all of their house brews in the front tasting room, with their special brews and visiting beers on in the brewery tasting room. No food, but there was a great food truck there that day. Value is average, what you would expect to pay for their beers, but the visiting ones were a bit pricier. Great brewery and great place to grab some beer in Jacksonville.

This place is in an odd part of town, accessible from a side door without much signage. The inside is a nice brewery tap room with a very nice selection of their own beers. And it had Jenga, like I saw in damn near ever bar in Jax. Friendly service at the bar. Close to Bold City, Kickbacks and Dahlia’s and worth a stop in when in that area.

Excellent service from knowledgeable servers. I larger and more diverse set of selections than most comparable small craft brewers. Diverse clientele, IMO, improves atmosphere.

excellent beer. Beer brewery in Jax. Particularly fond of Belgian styles. Duuuvel was the standout but Hoppy Belgian close second. Growler fills available. Must ee.

Weird place that seems to be in the middle of nowhere. I’m not sure if I entered in the wrong spot or something, but you feel like you’re going into a secret clubhouse and you need to know the knock or something.

I was only there for a little bit, but my service was prompt and knowledgeable.

LOTS of their beers on tap. Compared to the couple other breweries I had been to in Jax previously, I was impressed.

As seems to be the trend in Jax, their beer prices seem high to me.

This seems to be one of the better/best breweries in the area, and seeing as I just moved here, and live nearby, it’s going to be a common stop for me! Let me know if you’re in town!

Visited on a Thursday. Nice warehouse brewery with adjoining tasting room. 20 taps of house beer with another bar in the brewery. Small parking lot, I could see this as a problem on a busy night, but the beer was outstanding. Well above par, and an outstanding environment inside, outside seems a bit shady. A great mix of high and low gravity, styles, and appropriate glassware mixed with the swingtop growlers. My only regret about going was not getting more growlers. Look for me here every time I am in Jax.

Intuition, at least now that it has gained its footing, has become quite the place to hang out and is making better beer arguably than Bold City across the street. Intuition lets you get sample flights of 6 or 7 at a time for $1 a piece, which is a steal IMO to try all of their beers and see which ones you are going to like. They have pretty quick keg rotation and produce a lot of one-offs it seems so whenever you go, chances are there will be some specialties on tap. They allow growler fills in better sizes than Bold City it seems. Rather than only a medicine bottle or 1 gallon jug, you can get 750mL flip top growlers to go; which is far superior. Staff was very nice, prompt, and overall we had a lot more fun here than at Bold City on the same day. It was more alive, more beer to choose from, better beer overall, and a lot more crowded. Bold City’s big draw though is the Jolly Mon barbecue station inside that side skirts the license the brewery needs to sell food. At Intuition, there doesn’t seem to be a permanent food truck like they have at Green Room out at Jax Beach to also side step the food license. Intuition simply allows you to order food from surrounding restaurants and allows it to be delivered to the brewery. So you can technically order pizza while you’re here or anything from Kickback’s down the street. There is a big list in the brewpub that tells you all the places you can order from. Pretty cool setup. Overall, great vibe and fun place. I’m starting to go here more regularly than Bold City when I’m back in Jacksonville.

New local brewer. The inside brewhouse ambiance is somewhat stale. Service has been hit or miss, and we’ve usually been there when it’s been slow. The outside area is nice, you can watch the brewer at work. The surrounding area is pretty bad, run down. But they now have a security guard watching the parking lot. Decent selection for a brewpub, usually have a few guest brews.

Stopped by here on the way up to Savannah on an early Friday evening - the place was just starting to fill up. Had about a dozen of thier beers on tap. The three I had were above par. Nice, simple surroundings, plenty of tables, large bar, friendly, quick service. Easy to find location just off of I-10. Will make ths a regular stop if I am through here during service hours.
