Similar food and brews to the Wilmington location, but the special beers are different. The cask Anvil ale was great!

Visited April 2003 and liked it. Never been to any other locations. Many excellent beers and very good food, super service.

Was here for college, great for wed and sat nights!! But if you dont like a bunch of new people to meet come on another night and it will be easy going. Nice selection of brews. Very Nice owner. Come here in summer for Newark Brewfest, this place will have atleast 4 reserve beers and 4 guest beers, and a free tour of brewing facility by owner!!! RECOMMEND BELGIAN TRIPLE!!!

Been coming for years why not time for a review..right on main st..can be quite crowded during peak college season..seasonal offerings are usually best bet as house standards are just so so..pig iron is best of the standards..king kong 2 ipa was the best seasonal i have ever had is usually spot on..innovative pub fare..fresh and flavorful..nice that they give aha discount on food and beer..

I was here on a nice spring Saturday afternoon & enjoyed this place quite a bit. Had outside seating for "people watching" in a bustling little college town: modern simplistic looking wood interior w/a glass wall into the Brewery. Sat at the bar & had a samlper; they give you a sample of everything on tap. Had 9 beers for $6 bucks, including 2 versions of their Porter (Cask & Tap). Some good brews, some misses. Friendly, knowledgeable bar staff who could actually talk @ their beer & answer questions. Food was very good, had an excellent Smoked Chicken Quesadilla. Was told they fill up in the evening on weekends when school is in session, so Id avoid it then. Parking was an issue. Id recommend it, would like to go back for one of their beer dinners or events where you get a chance to meet w/the brewers. Ill have to try & get to one of their other locations.

A nice Iron Hill brewpub in downtown Newark. It had the standard 5 Iron Hill taps plus a lot of seasonals (I think around 5, plus the seasonal belgian and something else). I had a delicious winter warmer and seasonal IPA. This is my 3rd Iron Hill location and it is on par with the others (Wilmington and Lancaster). Perhaps a slightly cozier atmosphere and better lit. Slightly on the pricy side, but standard Iron Hill pricing. Another great Iron Hill!

Good beer selection, good location, bottles to go, great food. Parking really sucks. The parking is the only down side to the whole place. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

While a little pricy, Iron Hill was a good place to go to have some real beer. Would often go on Wednesday nights to get around the cost. Their vienna red is extremely good, but for first timers, I would suggest getting their sampler (like I did my first time there). Food was very good as well. I especially enjoyed their burgers. Definitely the place to go if youre looking for a slightly classier place in a college town.

A very good Delaware brewpub with an every changing selection of special house brews and seasonals. Decent food at a good price. 750ml to go bottles and growlers are pricey.
