Great place. Tremendous ambiance. They’ve been putting a lot of work into their tasting room and it shows. Knowledgeable employees, free samples of anything, good brewery tour. A very passionate crew. Extremely reasonable growler fills and mix-and-match sixers, all the Excelsior series 750’s, occasional brewery-only one-offs on the tap for growler fills (currently an unfiltered Flower Power). Les than a minute from two NY state parks (gorges, waterfalls, trails, picnic areas). Must visit when in Ithaca.

I pass through the area pretty often for work, and I stop in whenever I have the chance. Everyone I have ever talked to there has been very friendly and willling to answer any questions I have. They offer free samples, and growler fills are very reasonble ($7 regular, plus they have specials often). They have a limited homebrew section, along with brewery schwag, and some various products from other local companies. They offer tours on Saturday. About 5 minutes from Finger Lakes Beverage Center. Fun place to visit, and the beer is very good.

Stopped at the new expansion and relocation out behind the old place. Nice and spacious. Open seating area and a nice bar with seating also. Pub food, samplers and pints. Outside there are picnic tables and fire pits. Quite a dfference from the old place. Still have merchandise, bottle/case/growler sales. They also have a root beer and a ginger beer. Food was fine, the service quick and friendly, looking forward to stopping back again when the weather warms and enjoy a pint outside and take the brewery tour.

October 2011. A hidden gem. Looks like the front of a convenience store, and the ambiance is that of one too... except for the big wooden bar with all the taps off to the side. We tried 6 beers for free, with generous pours of each. Their beer tasted wonderfully fresh and the girl pouring was good to chat with. They sell beer lip balm there- I love their Flower Power version! A worthwhile stop, I will definitely be back.

We stopped by during a recent trip to the Finger Lakes. This is my third or fourth visit here and each trip has been enjoyable. They have a wide selection of their beers on tap and gladly provide samples and seem to genuinely enjoy talking beer. My wife and kids waited outside in the van while I was inside, and they even brought some soda samples out to my family! Nice touch! They have a decent selection of homebrew supplies as well. I ended up buying a growler, and a couple bottles each of the Brute and Eleven, as well as a mixed case of their root beer and ginger beer (their ginger beer is excellent by the way). Very convenient on Rt 13 and just down the road from Buttermilk Falls, definitely worth stopping by.

Nice place with friendly knowledgeable service. Not to be mistaken for a brew pub. Free samples abound. Worth the visit.

Drove up for the Le Bleu release and made it into a little overnight trip. We rolled up to the brewery at 10am, right behind the guy who runs the tap room. A few minutes later once another couple cars had arrived he invited us all in side. That quick hospitality and welcoming attitude really defines what Ithaca seems to be about. A few beers were shared amongst everyone there and the taps flowed for samples as well. The place has a very chill laid back local sort of feel, and there were definitely locals showing up just for growler fills who seemed to be a bit surprised at the growing crowd. I like that they have homebrew supplies as well, very much the sort of thing that shows that they support their locals and their locals support them. Wish it was a bit closer, but I’ll be back.

Cool little place off NY 13 near Buttermilk Falls. Had as many free samples as you could want. Service was good and home brew accessories were sold there. Plus the beer is pretty good.

Stopped in here to get some Brute, only to discover that they were out. Friendly though is leading me to places that still might have it or the IPAbbey. Nice selection of homebrew materials and swag, otherwise. Bought a very nice tulip glass.
