68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 15/20 tfredvik (17) Oslo, Norway | May 10, 2012 An incredible store with lots of quality food. The beer selection is far beyond most Norwegian grocery stores. The regular local mircobrews are all there (Nøgne Ø, Haandbryggeriet, Kinn, Ægir, Lervig), and also many foreign beers. A bit expensive. | 60 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 Arve_Christian (114) Oslo, Norway | March 18, 2012 Good selection of Norwegian beers below 4,75%. Not only the large industrial brewers | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Cunningham (246) Halden, Norway | December 10, 2011 omtrent håpløst å få pakert der, og fullstendig stappfullt på innsiden også - egentlig rene marerittet - men når en fikk syn på ølutvalget var alt dette glemt - sånn burde det være i enhver norsk butikk mmmmm | 52 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 visionthing (190) Oslo, Norway | October 27, 2011| Updated June 28, 2012 Probably the food store with the best selection in Oslo. They have about 25.000 different products available, and that is way above Norwegian standard (Regular supermarkeds in Norway have around 10.000 different products). Most of these are of course not beer, but they might have Oslo’s largest selection of beer below 4,75% (abv.), probably in competition with Centra Colosseum (at Majorstua). | 46 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 6/20 esp0r (35) , Norway | August 21, 2011| Updated June 28, 2012 A quality food store which of course also has a good beer selection. Due to the 4,7% abv regulations it’s not possible to have what i like to call a good selection, but there still is quite a nice range of beers in their selection. They have all the regulars from NØ, HB, Ægir, Berentsen and Lervig. Also alot of scottish and tzheck stuff. Also some unusual belgian fruit beers and germans. Though, it’s quite expensive | 64 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 abemorsten (103) Mosterøy, Norway | May 6, 2011 Located at Nordstrand, this is widely regarded as he most comprehensive quality food store in Norway. Given the 4,7% ABV limitation that apply to all stores in the nation (but the Wine monopoly), I found even the beer selection to be pretty good (and well worth a listing on Ratebeer) - both international and domestic brews decently represented. I would probably have stacked up significantly for my trip back home, had I not already been to Vika Vinmonopol. |
