This could be my favorate brewery setting in the country. Minus the live-fire gun range next door, this place is amazing! great staff that are ever so friendly (and love metal!), great setting for a farmhouse brewery and just a lovely saturday afternoon having some great beers for a very good price. There needs to be more places like this around the country. Everytime im in this area on a saturday, i will definately go back!

Comments: It’s a picturesque literal farmhouse brewery with tons of outdoor picnic table seating. Next door is another farm with really good pizza, a separate location called Stanley’s Farmhouse pizza. Ample free parking, tons of space for kids and dogs to run around. The beers on tap were a good mix of special edition house saisons and a few of their regular offerings. Some tap pours were poured from pitchers due to overcarbonation. A few beers were for sale only at outside stations separate from the main tasting room. Overall, the prices were normal for this type of beer and samplers were available- poured into large tulips with generous foam. However, a lot of the beer tasted phenolic and off with strange house yeast tasting over a body of dry, bland, seltzer tasting fluff. Cannot beat the ambiance, but I probably would not return for the beer.

Love this place! They have it figured out here. Located on a ranch with lots of parking, covered picnic tables, wood fired pizza, beer to go and a pretty decent guest tap selection.
Obviously this place can get packed on a Friday or Saturday… which is why I went on a Sunday. I had my fill for samples and pints with plenty of elbow room. Staff was friendly and I chatted up the girl checking ID cards. The lady’s pulling drafts where talkative as well. I had a great experience here. Someday I would like to return.

I visited on a Sunday. This place in in the middle of nowhere, and the buildings appear to be old farming or ranch buildings. Lots of acreage, and kind of reminds me of Ommegang in a way. They had about 10 of their beers on tap, with another 5-10 guest taps. Expansive bottle list. Knowledgeable servers. My main concern is that there are only outdoor porta-potties and only 1 proper toilet in the brewery. This sucks. Prices are very good.

Came here for dinner & drinks on a nice Memorial Day weekend night while visiting friends in Austin. I think this is the best ambiance of a brewery that I have ever been to. It’s a very laid back, casual vibe with picnic tables and a pizza restaurant that offers fantastic food. Highly recommend that anyone who visits Austin to go to this place, you will not regret it. Only item - it’s all outside, so if it’s pouring rain, may not be the best option to go here.

Out in beautiful Texas hill country surrounded by oak trees. Large building with an equally large main serving station and multiple pour sizes. Good guest taps. Little dissappointed by the selection as most of the beers they had available were in a very similar vein with little variety in style. Lots of benches to sit outside and enjoy the weather and view. Pizza was delicious and service was attentive.

A great place in hill country. Large setting, plenty of places to sit. Dog friendly. Multiple serving stations and bottle to go locations. Visited on a beer release weekend and it was managed nicely. Pizza from farmhouse was very good. Beers were reasonably priced and there were different serving size options. Definitely a must visit.

Visited at opening on January 3rd. Excellent setting for their operation. Got very busy as the afternoon wore on. Selection was more than expected, and a decent bottles to go selection. Four ounce tasters were $2.50. Tour was informative. Really can’t add much that hasn’t been already stated. I consider it a must visit. Did not try the Farmhouse Pizza, will try next visit. Live music was excellent.

If this place allowed you to camp there it would be the best spot ever. Even without that it is still a nice place to visit. Decent selection of, mostly their, beer. Friendly staff, great value - although they price their own stuff higher than you can get it locally, to be expected.

Jester King could possibly be the second most beautfiful and atmospherically astouding brewery I’ve ever visited, behind only Stone’s ridiculously extravagant World Bistro. Jester King is on a sprawling, hilly farmstead with outside seating and sporadic wooden buildings. I’m not sure how affiliated they are with the restaurant on grounds, but there is a place to get some food just a few yards away. The beer is nothing but top notch. They’ve carved out a niche for themselves by making beers that are undeniably unique, reflect a personality and delicious as well. Prices are really good for this kind of beer, especially by the standards I’m used to. It seemed to be in line with other spots in Austin. Sitting outside during sunset sipping on a glass of snorkel by a roaring fire could be the top highlight from my stay in Texas.
