A pretty cool ranch like brewery with lots of taps available, both guest and house. There is plenty of outdoor seating and views to be had. I didnít try it but heard multiple raves about the local pizzeria that had set up shop at the brewery. Service was good, never more than a two or three minute wait at the beer stations. I loved it, like a well developed Hill Farmstead.

Love this place! They have it figured out here. Located on a ranch with lots of parking, covered picnic tables, wood fired pizza, beer to go and a pretty decent guest tap selection. Obviously this place can get packed on a Friday or SaturdayÖ which is why I went on a Sunday. I had my fill for samples and pints with plenty of elbow room. Staff was friendly and I chatted up the girl checking ID cards. The ladyís pulling drafts where talkative as well. I had a great experience here. Someday I would like to return.

I visited on a Sunday. This place in in the middle of nowhere, and the buildings appear to be old farming or ranch buildings. Lots of acreage, and kind of reminds me of Ommegang in a way. They had about 10 of their beers on tap, with another 5-10 guest taps. Expansive bottle list. Knowledgeable servers. My main concern is that there are only outdoor porta-potties and only 1 proper toilet in the brewery. This sucks. Prices are very good.

Came here for dinner & drinks on a nice Memorial Day weekend night while visiting friends in Austin. I think this is the best ambiance of a brewery that I have ever been to. Itís a very laid back, casual vibe with picnic tables and a pizza restaurant that offers fantastic food. Highly recommend that anyone who visits Austin to go to this place, you will not regret it. Only item - itís all outside, so if itís pouring rain, may not be the best option to go here.

Out in beautiful Texas hill country surrounded by oak trees. Large building with an equally large main serving station and multiple pour sizes. Good guest taps. Little dissappointed by the selection as most of the beers they had available were in a very similar vein with little variety in style. Lots of benches to sit outside and enjoy the weather and view. Pizza was delicious and service was attentive.

A great place in hill country. Large setting, plenty of places to sit. Dog friendly. Multiple serving stations and bottle to go locations. Visited on a beer release weekend and it was managed nicely. Pizza from farmhouse was very good. Beers were reasonably priced and there were different serving size options. Definitely a must visit.

Visited at opening on January 3rd. Excellent setting for their operation. Got very busy as the afternoon wore on. Selection was more than expected, and a decent bottles to go selection. Four ounce tasters were $2.50. Tour was informative. Really canít add much that hasnít been already stated. I consider it a must visit. Did not try the Farmhouse Pizza, will try next visit. Live music was excellent.

If this place allowed you to camp there it would be the best spot ever. Even without that it is still a nice place to visit. Decent selection of, mostly their, beer. Friendly staff, great value - although they price their own stuff higher than you can get it locally, to be expected.

Jester King could possibly be the second most beautfiful and atmospherically astouding brewery Iíve ever visited, behind only Stoneís ridiculously extravagant World Bistro. Jester King is on a sprawling, hilly farmstead with outside seating and sporadic wooden buildings. Iím not sure how affiliated they are with the restaurant on grounds, but there is a place to get some food just a few yards away. The beer is nothing but top notch. Theyíve carved out a niche for themselves by making beers that are undeniably unique, reflect a personality and delicious as well. Prices are really good for this kind of beer, especially by the standards Iím used to. It seemed to be in line with other spots in Austin. Sitting outside during sunset sipping on a glass of snorkel by a roaring fire could be the top highlight from my stay in Texas.

Great beer destination in the middle of the Texas Woodlands. The beer selection of their own plus trying others is ridiculous. The people and service are outstanding. The amount of beer to purchase and take away is awesome and handled separately making easier on everyone. A must on every beer nerds list. Will be back again in the near future.
