Centrally located (its off the main square) speciality food store. They have an OK selection of austrian and international beers. Overall nothing too special, some things looked a bit expensive. Since its so central it should not be a hassle to just drop by.
If you are nearby the Spar supermarket under the Kastner and ÷hler department store on Sackgasse (shopping street) has a decent selection of austrian beers.

62 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 12/20
Small bottle and soda shop located near the Hauptplatz. The selection is limited but I was able to pick up a Fullerís Past Masters and Samuel Smithís Pale Ale. Maybe worth a stop if you are close and cannot find something cheaper.

Jodl at Franziskaner Gasse. Funny little store in a nice, tiny street with different shops in the heart of Graz, straight beside the Rathausplatz. Offers american sweets and soft drinks, together with international beer (Belgium, Britain, Australia, etc.) and beer from Brauhaus Gusswerk. The Gusswerk selection is great, almost everything! They also have some other nice international beers (for example Samuel Smith or Huyghe Delirium) but not much. The beer is also showcased in a very small seperate room. A bit pricey, but the staff is very fiendly and helpful.

@ Franziskaner Gasse: Small liquor, soft drinks and sweets store in the old centre of Graz. They donít offer imaginary number of known and unknown beers, but at least they offer almost everything from Brauhaus Gusswerk plus few Australian beers like James Boagís, Coopers and Tooheys... Staff is extremely friendly, beer educated and even too talkative. Prices are high, but comparable to beer shops in Slovenia. Recommended visit...

On few locations in the city, two small shops and two stands. Jodl18+ has stupid working hours, from 16.00-19.30. so when I was there it was closed. Just 5 minutes on foot (just follow the tram line) on the main square (Hauptplatz) is one stand, and 100 meters further in small alley (Franziskaner Gasse 4) is Jodl Shop. Normal working hours; Mo-Sat 9.00-19.00. Shop has good selection of beers, many different sodas like Cola, Fanta, Sprite, etc. and lots of gummy bears. Unfortunately insanely stupid high prices (some average Austrian beers not less than 2,5Ä, foreign beers 4,5Ä plus).

Went here only because it was listed as the outlet of Schmied meads on Schmiedís site. You can imagine my surprise when we came nearer and first saw that it was a beer & cider (& liquour) store too! Located in the middle of Graz, just a couple minutes walk from the Hauptplatz, which is damn cool too. The selection is big enough for a store that size, strange and seemingly almost "random", which is damn cool, as there are plenty of rare beers you probably canít find anywhere else nearby (except maybe their other outlets). The meads are all Schmied, around 10 of them! Good selection of ciders too for the areas, probably around 10 of them too... The guy working there was more than helpful, though I donít expect extremely good beer knowledge (beyond what they have perhaps). Still, extremely satisfied with the service. Of course, youíll find better stocked stores at other places, but you might find a lot of new ratings here even if you have thousands already, and in the Graz context, this is more than welcome. The prices are a bit high though, almost 3 Euros for 0.5l bottles of beer is definitely high for the area I guess, but then again, Iím used to shopping in huge supermarkets there, so maybe itís not the best comparison.
