A fairly large brewpub with a big wrap-around bar located just off of I-84. Stopped in for lunch. Decent selection - good mix of styles on tap, plus wine and booze. Decent pub fare. Barmaid was a little busy with other things, but Iíve come to expect this in the middle of the day when not much is going on. Good to check out if youíre in the area.

Not a bad little place to stop. I think the highlight of John Harvardís in their own brews. After that, the selection is okay, the food is okay, the service is just okay. Their own brews are great, the guys that run the place are great, so Iím always mixed on how I truly feel about the place.

Visited during InbiŤrenationale IV, May 2007. The place is nice and modern, very typical run of the mill US brewpub. They were serving 7 beers when we visited, most of them mediocre. Not worth the detour.

beer tour, 9/22/08 Called for directions on our way down to manchester, and were mis-directed by the person who answered the phone. After several attempts to right ourselves, finally asked a helpful police officer who gave us concise and correct directions to the facility. Once we arrived, we were greeted cheerfully, seated promptly and waited on quickly. I ordered the sampler, no surprise there, and my wife ordered water. Since we arrived during happy hour, I also ordered buffalo tenders. The beer sampler arrived fairly quickly. None of the beers was exceptional, although the IPA had some hop flavor, and the stout seemed to style. The light beer was also pretty flavorful, but at 4.6% alcohol, I question whether it can really be called a light beer. I also ordered a cask version of the stout, which to my taste was a much better beer. The tenders were very good, big strips of chicken with a moderately hot sauce and the usual sides. A decent value.

Not too bad - typical American brewpub - resturant. nice environment and decent food. Nothing spectacular, but a good place nonetheless.....

Pretty much what I expected for a higher end chain brewpub. 6 taps (I think) of relatively standard fare. The Rye Pale Ale was a little bold, and not bad. OK food; the meatloaf was not what I was expecting, but wasnít bad. Doesnít quite have a real friendly pub atmosphere that they seem to be going for, just kinda generic. Worth a stop if youíre in the area, but I wouldnít go too far out of my way to make it here.

OK place - 8 beers on tap and one cask. Beers I had were average, service prompt. Didnít eat, so no comment on that. Seems pretty run of the mill, but certainly worth a stop.

Of the three area brewpubs, this is the best one, IMHO. When you walk in, thereís an eating area and a nice bar area. Thereís usually 5-7 of their own beers on with a daily cask offering. The last two times I was there, the nut brown was on cask and was great and the brown recluse was on which was also very enjoyable. Their beer to go is in a cooler and counterpressure filled which is nice. Service is always good. This location seems to specialize in English style ales all of which are enjoyable.

Went here with DYCsoccer17 the other day. Very quiet friday afternoon. Since wer were the only 2 sitting at the bar, the service was very good. They had about 7 different beers on tap at the time, and none of them seemed too exotic, but they were pretty well made and tasty. Atmosphere was pretty standard for a brewpub. Pretty big inside and can probalby hold a lot of people. We just got a couple beers, so I ddint get to try any food, so cant comment on that. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This place is always busy and quite dark. There is a lack of TVs as well. They have about 8 beers on tap at a time and sometimes have a cask ale as well. The prices are decent as well as the beers, but the bartenders have attitudes and reall donít know anything about their beer. Come for the beer, not for the service or atmosphere. I cannot comment on the food.----Re-rate. Since my initial rating, the poor bartenders have moved on and the new ones are quite a bit better. The beer here is a bit above average and the food is VERY good.
