Spent a Sunday afternoon trying their beers and having lunch. Impressive beers, especially for those of us fond of complex, yeasty and sour beers. Food was great, and extremely value priced. Will stop by anytime Iím in the area.

This was a bit of a disappointment for me. I came in expecting good things but was let down by the beers and the service. :(

Nice layout. Patio and upstairs was not open yet. Server was unpleasant.

Stopped through on a slow afternoon. As others have mentioned, they typically donít have anything "rare" on tap. However, I bet you can find at least one or two things you have not tried. I was surprised how many taps they devoted to North Peak beers but its nice to help out a neighbor I suppose. The service was friendly and the food was pretty good. Overall we enjoyed our stop and will most likely go back when the taps rotate seasonally.

Comfortable place with good, friendly service. Food was good and more diverse menu than typical pub grub.

Was very disappointed with this place. Ambiance was a bit upscale, but not really inving. Service was friendly, but not very knowledgable. Selection was very lacking. Lots of crappy peak beers, a few regular JP offerings, but not La Roja, Bier De Mars, Luciergna, just disappointing. They didn;t even have any La Roja bottles for sale. I had to buy one down the road at another brewpub! Food however was excellent and unique. Value on e food was good, beers not so much. Overall try it out and hope they have some good stuff if youíre in Ann Arbor, but don;t go out of your way.

My only complaint would be with íselectioní; the ícafe&breweryí (restaurant) do a disappointingly bad job offering what jolly pumpkin - the brewery - has to offer. Otherwise an awesome atmosphere, incredibly good food, and an overall good time to be had.

Neat place and surprisingly slow before the football game. Great local food selections and service. Most of the beers have slight sour notes, but thatís one of the biggest reasons to come.

Jolly Pumpkin creates some really unique beers and has the best food of any brewpub in Ann Arbor. If you are here at the right time, you have got to try the Baudeliere IO Saison. Really not like anything Iíve tried elsewhere.
The taps rotate nicely, and there are JP staples in large bottles at all times. Brew their own liquor here, so donít expect to find any standard mixed drinks or liquors. Highly recommended, and a really fun feel upstairs. If youíre on a brewpub crawl in AA, this is the place to start and eat your dinner. Only knock is itís almost always packed and getting a table is tough unless youíre there early on Thursdays through Saturdays.

As much a trendy eating establishment as a beer bar. Top quality brews, even thou the selection is not the greatest. The 5 beer sampler may be a good atart if you are not familiar with the JP/North Peak products.Nice upstairs deck.
