Easy to find driving through Fremont. Smallish taproom/restaurant. Pick your own sampler of brews at $7.75, a little steep I thought. The five I chose were hardly standouts, but a patron clued me in to the Christmas ale which was quite good. Seemed like everything they produce was available there on tap and in 12oz. Mixed 6s no problem. Guy working the bar looked pretty busy and it was hard to get his attention - but there were only a couple people in the place. Odd.

Cool map on the floor. Greasy food. Actually rather small.

Good selection of the Maritime Brews. If they have Bosun’s on nitro, be sure to try one..I like the Maritime map on the floor.Service is always excellent, food is average.

Why don’t I go back here more? I have no idea....I was here once on a date and that’s it. They brew tasty beers though and i’ve heard the food is good(especially the smoked onion rings!). I’m making it a point to go back soon.... It is a really small place though.

Lots of fresh MP beer of course; great stuff. Great fries, good salads, cute little burgers. Lots of other good stuff on the menu. Kind of small for the crowd it draws, but comfortable and you can hang as long as you like. Provided you found parking.

Arrr...uuhhh I was expecting more of a pirate bar than this place. Minimal decorations, minimal brewania, but otherwise a clean and small pub with nice furniture and tall bar. The selection was extensive in numbers but lacking in quality, and the three versions of the IIPA (regular, dry-hopped and double dry-hopped) all were pretty poor. What’s the deal? I’ve had the Maritime IIPA at McCormick’s Fish House and it was amazing, unfiltered, sour and fruity. This stuff was all clear and bland. Loses a point on ambiance for the location, feels like it sits under the freeway and across the street from a bunch of auto body shops.

Was in there at night and I thought I was going to damage my hearing ( and I used to play in loud punk band). The strangest ascoustics I have ever heard in a room. DO not order food ( fud) here it was so greasy. Once was enough

Pirate themed bar.....AWESOME! Replica pirate flags drape the beams above your head while the floor beneath your chair is painted to resemble an antique nautical chart. Even the sample glasses have a pirate flag and good ol’ &quo;Yo-Ho-Ho!&quo;. The service was very good, not much pirate spirit, but they’re learning. The beers were good, lots of them. Didn’t have much food. Great place just for the ambience! GO HERE NOW!
