First stop on the Suttree Seattle Tour 07. Kind of a little hole-in-the-wall joint, rather crowded on a Monday afternoon. Lots of the MP beers on tap and cask. I had the Jolly Roger and Imperial Pale, plus a sampler (donít look at me like that, I was on Vacation). All very good, and the service was tentative. Oh, and the Mini Ahi and Mini burgers were great, but you gotta try the smoked onion rings.

A small spot on the NW corner of the Ballard Bridge offering their own ales, often twisted. Iíve had the same beer on: CO2, Dry-hopped, Cask, and Nitro at one sitting. Their kitchen is INSANE, smoking their own food out back (how do they get it lit-). The deep fried pickles need to wait 5 min or you get burnt. They put their beer in everything, esp. the extreme sauces for the little burger/Mahi/Osyster sandwiches. They change their fresh sheet for beyond Grubbinís that are worth ALL the effort of getting there. I choose not to wait for a table (who would leave?). The place gets unfortunately LOUD. There is an outside seating area.
Go there, and taste for yourself (Argh!).

No frills or anything extra, just beer. But I guess you stick with what you know. They have great beer. I tried the aged Winter beer. It was great.

How could you not like this place, it looks like pirates of the carribean exploded in here! great little sliders with weird dips (beware the spicy one), and a wide variety of folks go here. Just need to impove on being able to tell what beers are on tap.

Didnít have food, but they have to traditional-style english beer engines. They cask condition ales, although not the typical real ale types found in the UK. I had a cask conditioned IPA there which was wonderful.

I think this place has the best pub food in the county. All of the liíl burgers, planks, and smokers are outstanding. They also have a spendier dinner menu and their Jolly Roger Xmas ale is on tap about ten months out of the year. My only complaint is about the hours, itís usually closed when I want to go. I hear that very soon they will be open on Sundays...

Easy to find driving through Fremont. Smallish taproom/restaurant. Pick your own sampler of brews at $7.75, a little steep I thought. The five I chose were hardly standouts, but a patron clued me in to the Christmas ale which was quite good. Seemed like everything they produce was available there on tap and in 12oz. Mixed 6s no problem. Guy working the bar looked pretty busy and it was hard to get his attention - but there were only a couple people in the place. Odd.

Cool map on the floor. Greasy food. Actually rather small.

Good selection of the Maritime Brews. If they have Bosunís on nitro, be sure to try one..I like the Maritime map on the floor.Service is always excellent, food is average.
