Another cafť-type place, which seems to be a theme when you get out of down town. They have a decent tap list for a cafť but nothing overly impressive. A couple of macros and a couple of Colorado-made beers (not macro). The food looked good but the prices were high (starting around $10). They are open late and they do the full food menu until pretty late as well but they have a late night menu after 11pm. I could see this getting pretty crowded but at 4pm on a Thursday it wasnít too bad. Only a few blocks from convention center too. The servers were very nice and didnít judge me by my Jaegermeister shirt. Theyíll let you try something if you want to taste it but there isnít much there that will be new to anyone.

High quality. Practically all beers are locals and the selection is great. The food is outstanding with a specialization in french fries. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. If youíre a local, then youíll want to make this a weekly stop. If youíre not, then youíll want to put it on your list each time you visit Denver.

A friendís recommendation drove me here on a recent trip through Denver, and this was probably the best food of the trip. This place looks like a cafe or coffee shop from the outside, but inside was a quaint and somewhat retro wood-paneled bar area with what looked like a lounge in an adjacent area. There were about 10 drafts on while I was there, and a somewhat inclusive bottle list with about a 60/40 mix of locals and national beers. Happy hour made the beer about $4 for a pint and then the food was awesome. Nacho fries- a pile of fries with the toppings like nachos, a great salad with a mix of greens and seeds, and tofu and tempeh sliders in chipotle sauce with some macadamia nut key lime pie for dessert. The waitress was on-the-spot and knew beer enough to talk for a little bit about the beers. The beer selection could have been more extensive, but they do pretty well with the taps they have. All in all, an awesome place that I will hit every time I am in town.

No A/C, be warned, the fries are fantastic. Very cool place, walkable to any Uptown residents.

Decent enough place a coiple of blocks out of Downtown. Quieter for that and with a nice corner terrace. Dark inside but my server lent me a reading light. Passable food, half-cosy atmosphere and a beer list that features cans, something that we Brits donít understand.

Finally got around to checking this place out - brought my wife here for dinner for her birthday (her suggestion) - a cozy spot just outside of downtown - vibe is relaxed but kind of hipsterish - I was not impressed at all by the beer selection - six tap, none of which were anything most bars in town do not carry - quite a few bottles, but also not impressive - in short, the beer selection was pretty much just the big five CO craft brewers - they also serve all of the beer in frosted glasses - wtf? - menu is small but fairly creative - I guess you would call it "new American," but they have a few items with an Asian twist - the food was simply so-so, and some of it was so salty that I could hardly taste anything else - nothing jumped out at me and made me look forward to the next bite - something interesting to note is that the restrooms are decorated with half-naked pin-up style photos of the female waitstaff - not sure what that is all about - itís a decent spot, but nothing about the food or the beer selection leads me to believe that I will make a return visit - skip this and go to Euclid Hall instead.

(Visited 10/2009): Jonesyís is located on the north side of the city near Benedict Fountain Park on E 20th Ave. There is parking on the street in the nearby areas.
There is a small patio, while on the inside there is a bar on the left side and a few booths opposite. There is also a separate room for additional dining seating. The motif includes maroon colors, wood and white chandeliers.
Jonesyís has over 30 bottles available, all of which are from Denver/Colorado (Breckenridge, Great Divide, Odell, Bristol, Oskar Blues etc). There are 2 taps, both of which are occupied by Oskar Blues (Ten Fidy and Barrel-Aged Old Chub on my visit). The available beers are all staged above the bar and on the menu.
Service was good at 5pm on a weeknight as we were there right when they opened and had the bar to ourselves for awhile, although the place steadily filled up. The bartenders were knowledgeable about the beers and made good recommendations.
The food recommendation was mac íní cheese fries and they were spot on.
Overall I really liked the focus on local microbrews, low key atmosphere and tasty food and would definitely seek this place out on future visits to Denver.

Underrated, almost cult following among the people who know. Kind of place where young people allow their palates to grow up. A few steps up from pub grub across the board; a loyalist to Colorado beers (albeit in bottles), which shouldnt leave a lot of room for complaining if youíre looking for a good beer, Jonesy also puts out a sexy calendar featuring the female staffers. Enjoy, nerds.

Stopped by after a ski trip to summit county. Was hoping for a little better selection. However, food by far compensated. Tried mac n cheese and truffle fries, as well as Thai seasoned muscles and main course. Cioppino aswell was above average. Staff ok knowledge on beer selection but were very attentive. Will make it a regular stop when coming thru Denver.
