typical hotel bar not my favorite place in town

This place is past its prime, but still fun for a round with people from the office. It’s more for hotel patrons than anything, but has some local beers on and decent pub fare.

This place really sucks these days. It’s a typical hotel bar with only two of their own beers- both of which are not good. Bartender was a bit creepy and the atmosphere is really like a golf bar. Skip it.

Good place to get a yard downtown, beers seem to fluctuate in quality.

Enjoyed the atmosphere here and the service was great. Definitely worth the stop when in town.

I stayed at the Hilton so went down for a couple of beers one night. Nothing special, wouldn’t go out my my way to go back, but handy if you are staying at the hotel. Not too much to choose from, and more like a sports bar to me.

Conveniently located downtown, so you can hit up other spots after ticking off this spot. The beers aren’t good: Produced with no flavor to not offend the masses. 5 beers on tap available on a sampler platter. I think the sours they make are probably only available for fests and not at the pub.

Visited with the family on a Saturday afternoon over Memorial day weekend 2009. We were staying in the hotel (Hilton Antlers) so this was quite convenient for us. The layout of the bar / restaurant is pretty bland generic hotel bar, with rent a bric-a-brac on the walls. It is pretty cool that they bother to brew beer at a hotel bar, they probably don’t need to. The beers on tap (6) were all fresh and decently made. Use nice tall glasses for samples. Food we ordered was apps, nachos and some kind of hummus dip. Service was attentive, and was interested in what I thought about all of the samples I tried. Overall, if you are hitting Phantom Canyon across the street, this is worth trying. Only have time for one? I would hit Phantom Canyon.

Went to Judge Baldwins on a Saturday afternoon. Not many customers, so service was very prompt. Had a couple draft beers. Several different styles of beer were available. Beers were fairly priced. Didn’t try any food.

Great in town location. Beer was good, food offerings not so (so we did not eat here) It could probably be a hoppin joint if it was not in the lobby of a Hilton Hotel. Worth a stop, but don’t go out of your way.
