The drive from Worcester was definitely not an issue once I walked inside. I would go on a retarded rant about the place but whats left to say that hasn’t been said already. I will say that Tom, one of the beer guys there, hooked me up with some really great beers that i probably would have passed over. Definitely a destination store.

This place is freakin sweet. I had no idea how good this would be. I went here for the alesmith, but ended up buying about $200 in other stuff as well. Got a couple bottles each of: yulesmith, speedway, wee heavy, numbskull. ALl on same too- the 750s were marked down to $10.99, which is a great deal. Picked out some sprecher specialty beers, got tons of founders- old curmudgen, rubeaus, red rye, and some quad. They were also having a sale on some cantillons- Honestly I have never seen a bottle of cantillon on sale before- ever. Had the 1900 grand cru for only $9.99! Cant beat that. BOught a ton fo singles there- good selection. Also looked in the coolers- where even more differnet beers were located. They also had a great selection of Moylans- while everyone in NY already ran out of the hopsickle- they still had some- so I bought more. Im sure Im forgetting a lot of the stuff purchased there. I was pretty much overwhelmed by the rediculous selection they had there which was a good thing.

This was my biggest reason for going to Boston, to come here and grab some Alesmith. This store is huge, and well laid out. Lots of micro brews and rare brews. Joe was the coolest guy, he helped me find beer for states i was looking for and talked beer with me (very knowledgable). When i told him we came from Philadelphia area just to see his shop he gave us free shirts, this place was absolutely amazing. Singles galore, and warm (couldn’t beat that for my long trek home). This place is a must visit!

The legendary spot in central Massachusetts. I am lucky enough to work nearby, so I go here often now. It is always an experience, with new stuff arriving all of the time. The huge wine section has just been redone - I really hope they do the same for the beer side soon. It’s pretty cramped, considering how epic it is. They don’t have everything though - I have seen stuff in other parts of Mass that are not here.

This place is a temple for the faithful beer worshipers. You must make a pilgrimage here at some point in your alcoholic career. They have many beers from around the country and the world. Most appropiately, they have Founders -- a truly great beer of our time.

Wow, what a great place! Stopped by during a visit to Rhode Island. Julio’s is just a short hop off the Mass. Trnpk. Very nice selection. My primary goal was to come away with just a couple of Alesmith Speedway’s and I ended up blowing about $200 bucks!!! Very nice selection of Belgians not to mention the availability of the Founders’, Southern Tier, and Alesmith’s. My only disappointment was being to late to catch a couple of the Peche Mortels!! Very helpful staff.... also had the pleasure of meeting fellow Ratebeerian, OldGrowth. This place is highly recommended!!!

I haven’t been to too many legendary metro beer stores. But of the places I’ve shopped, this is hands down the best. From personal services including beermails from the Beer Manager to an incredible and staggering array of selection, including vintages, rare Belgians, select releases, singles any time you want them, and a free beer festival. How can you say anything bad about this place? They even have AleSmith, only the third place (I heard) away from San Diego. Joe was very welcoming and helpful. I’ll be back many times for sure.

Yeah, so I can say that this is the best beer store I have been to. Better than Half Time, better than Premier Gourmet, better than Holiday Valley, better thanTown and Country. There is so much shit here that I only got half of what I wanted and still blew well over $100. Left Hand, Alesmith, Middle Ages, Victory, Southern Tier, McNeills, Jolly Pumpkins, Founders, Panil, Peche Mortel, and probably the best selection of Belgians I have ever seen (ok, so Premier Gourmet has a better selection of AGED belgians). They also had several meads and ciders as well. Single bottles are encouraged with discounts. There is a shady little cigar shoppe as you go in, which I don’t think a cigar fan would buy from. They also have a hot sauce selection if you’re into that stuff. I was asked if I needed any help shortly after I started browsing. The guy at the register was also very kind. Prices, Quality, and Selection are better than Austin and Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge. A MUST stop. My one complaint is the horrid-smelling redemption center as you walk in. Nothing but stale beer aromas.

Incredible selection of brews. More than I have ever seen before, especially with American micros such as Great Divide, Avery, Founders, Two Brothers, Southern Tier, Middle Ages and locals McNeill’s, Harpoon, Tuckerman, Woodstock Inn, Magic Hat as well as others. Decent amount of Belgians as well. Additionally, there was the Burn Center which is a hot sauce section. Nice wine selection too
