I asked around for THE store in the Cincinnati area that I must go to and time after time Jungle Jimís came up as a place to experience. In a word, WOW. According to their website this place is 6 acres and expanding. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. There are several rows of just beer and thatís all I was there for anyway (although I would like to go back with more time to spend and fully experience everything this place has to offer). They boast over 1200 different beers. If thatís not enough to provoke a beer geekís interests I donít know what is. This place is an absolute must.

Stopped in Jungle Jimís for the Spring Beer fest. I also hit the store. Very cool. A nice selection of beer and everything else you could ever want to eat or drink. This place was very cool. A most stop.

WOW!! Thats all I could muster after entering this mega mart!! After wiping the drool off my chin I set out on my adventure. Cheese from all around the world, meats to die for, breads and produce that I would gladly slap my mother and grandmother for!! Isle after isle of foodie heaven. Then we found the beer, wine and spirits section. Drool begins to run again! I found the selection to be overwhelming!! Ratebeer book in hand we spent a few hours and a few dollars here. I was afraid we would have to leave a kid there to make room for all our haul!! There was a very friendly gentleman who offered his opinions about some of the beers and guided us around a bit. I could have stayed here for days!! Defiantly a must see place when in town!

The Jungle: A Cincinnati institution, foodie heaven. This place is an amusement park of food and one the best places in the tri-state for beer. They have a huge selection of domestic, Belgian, and foreign brews. The single bottle selection could be improved, but there is always something worthwhile. They also carry a respectable selection of homebrew supplies and glassware. Overall, this is definitely one of the top five beer stores in the Cincinnati area.

Selection couldnít be better, if the beer is distributed in ohio, it is available at Jungle Jims. Service isnít the same as a specialty shop, staff is helpful but not necessary knowledgeable. Only retail establishment around with extensive 1/6B selections. They do nice job of getting limited items in, right now, big case stacks of Sam Adams infinium, a few cases of smuttynose baltic porter and brooklyn black ops, left hand fade to black, sam smith yorkshire stingo, etc.

Iíve never really thought about supermarkets as an attraction, but this place is definitely tour-worthy. Jungle Jimís is an attraction unto itself, and has a great selection of beer, much as it has a great selection of pretty much everything it sells - olives, cheese, hot sauce, honey, - really everything! Iíve derided both beer pricing and selection in Ohio since I moved to here from Wisconsin a few months ago, but Jungle Jimís is a definite exception...it is by far the best beer selection Iíve seen in OH, and while I feel Iíve been victimized by Ohioís minimum-markup laws, I feel like the prices here werenít bad.
They have mixed-sixes, although the pricing and selection on the mixed-sixes werenít great. But the bomber and six-pack selection were great, and while the place isnít cheap, it is not as bad as other beer stores I frequent in OH.
I didnít speak to anyone here; no idea what service is like here, but itís a grocery store - other than getting help finding the hoisin sauce and the Boboli, do you expect from a grocery store?

Biggest and best selection of beers in Southwest Ohio. I live about 40 minutes away and itís worth an occasional trip. Often have lots beers in the shelves that have limited availability elsewhere. Hard to describe anything they specialize in, as they seem to have it all -- Belgiumís, Germans, English, Stone, Unibroue, Ommegang -- they typically stock it all. Be sure and check out the monthly beer tasting events -- often held in the event center next door. They are often well worth the price of admission just to hear the guest speaker.
