Finally stopped in here to pickup some stuff to brew in a few days and they definitely had everything I needed. It’s sort of weird that they’re in the middle of an industrial park, but the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning!

The only brewing supplies store in Jacksonville. Located next door to Bold City Brewery, moved there in July 2010 from the westside location. Store owner Ken Stevens, and manager Walter Rasco are always willing to assist a newbie with the finer points of brewing beer. They have numerous brewing events in the parking lot, and support the local brew club. Its a good store, and deserving of local support.

Not very friendly place, but if your buying they are helpful service wise. Its the only brew store in town, they have a home brew club they refer you too if your new. He has a corner with some beer in it, most of it sadly is old. and pricey as hell. I think after they know your going to spend some bucks in there they warm up to you some, typical westside rednecks.

Helpful in that it has all you need to brew your own beer. A corner area with some craft beers, some you see every day, some you don’t. However it’s too large of a store, which has obviously impacted it’s pricing. (ie very overpriced) Good place to start you homebrewing adventure (they sell individual ingredients or box sets for pale ale, pilsner, etc...) but find a wholesale or something for your ingredients lest you go broke. Near forty dollars for 12 german-style rubber-stopper bottles, approx. 16oz capacity.
