Justinís is a great place for beers before or after a Nationals game. It is very close to the ballpark. Justinís is friendly and offers a full bar. You can arrive early and its relatively crowded but not overly so. The selection of beers isnít large, but they have different styles and reliable choices. Bartenders are friendly and efficient. Justinís becomes progressively more crowded and was usually is standing room only about an hour before a game. There are some outdoor seats, but overall this is a little place. Regardless, definitely the best small bar in the Navy Yard and the owner is present often, and connects with the customers.

Food is great, service too. The taps donít rotate much, e.g., the bad news; Racer 5 is always on tap.... the good news: Racer 5 is always on tap! Perfect little bar to visit after a baseball game rather than join the crowd in the Metro. Good place for lunch or happy hour if you work nearby.

Iíve been there twice, once after and once before a Washington Nationals game. The place is small, so itís not the most ideal place to go before or after the game if you donít like crowds.

Selection is small, but fine for a quick craft beer (they have at least 3 on tap, with usually some macro crafty beer as the 4th).

Pizza is very tasty. Perfectly fine place, just maybe not a craft beer destination.

If you are going to a Nats game, this is the first, and best, place to get to before the game (get there early, fills up quickly). Feels like a lunch counter, not a place to get comfortable and order from their fairly decent local beer list for more than an hour. One of the better places in the neighborhood though.

Good place for a pre-Nationals game craft beer.

A small lunch-counter-style place near the new ballpark. Four beers on tap, 8 bottles, a pretty safe list - probably a reasonable strategy to cater to the after ballgame crowd. Only one macro. Nothing local or even regional on the list. Founders Breakfast Stout was on draft, though, which is nice. I had the bison burger, which was OK but not great; the sweet potato fries were very oddly sugary. The pizza, soup or sandwiches would have been a better choie.
