Very large selection of beer and wine. Looks small from the outside but they use every inch of space available. Between 500-600 different types of beer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about their selections. I highly recomend this store to anyone in Indy and to the people visiting. Have let me break a cold six pack for a single or 2. But donít think it is a common practice. Have both warm and cold selections to choose from. Even pulled a Double Bastard out of hiding for me! Thanks Brendon
The selection here is quite good, but they unfortunately sell through things very quickly. If you donít get there right after a release, you might have to go somewhere else. Aside from that, the staff is helpful and the prices are reasonable.

great guys, very personable. my only complaint was it took 4 days for them to ship my beer out, but thats only a complaint because i needed to get it before i left home. they have a great selection of bells beers as well as a few three floyds. guys are very friendly and always willing to help. note- i gave them a 3 on ambiance becuase i have never been there- because i used this as a mail order store. without giving a rating on ambiance it wont allow me to submit.
The part of town is a bit sketchy, wouldnít go there at night. They have a huge imported beer selection, but donít forget, itís a wine shop. About 85-90% of the store is dedicated to wine and liquor. They also donít seem to have many "in-between" type beers -- a lot of low end and a lot of high end (lambics esp.), but not much in the middle as far as craft brews go, in my opinion. Service and knowledgability is very good. Prices are slightly higher than elsewhere. Good place to find new beers to try.
I stopped in Kahnís passing through Indy this past weekend, and I was pretty impressed. They have a big selection of American craft, import craft and macro beers in general. The beer was on the left side of the store, as they also sell wine and spirits there. They had beer stored both on shelves and in coolers. Everyone I talked to on the staff was nice and all asked if I had any questions and were all willing to help. When I was checking out I remembered there was one beer I was looking for and didnít see it in the coolers so I asked if they had any available. I donít know who it was that I talked to there, but they remembered that they just got a shipment in from their distributor earlier that day and went in the back to check, and grabbed me a 6-pack when he found out it was one of the beers they just received. The prices all seemed fair to me, and the craft selection was impressive as I found a lot of brews I was looking for and some interesting ones I had never seen before. Iíll definitely stop back in the next time Iím in the area.

more good stuff per sq. foot than any other liquor store in Indy, including trinkets. if you are not claustrophobic, youíll like Kahnís. i come here for the many exotic beers but their wine selection is impressive.
