I was there a few months ago. Had business in downtown, and brewery was only .3 miles away...I was the first one there for lunch. Ordered food which is a seperate window. Selection was good and prices were reasonable. also could get different sizes of beer which was good. Sat at the bar and the locals/regulars filled in around me. I tried to converse with them but they ignored me...the only guy that talked to me was another pilgrim who had tried to go to darkhorse but it was closed..The bar area was ok and there were tables and pretty decent space. Nice old building. Overall, not a bad experience, but wouldnt go out of my way to go back.

I love Bellís. I lived in Kalamazoo and visited the brewery weekly. If you need a beautiful beer garden to relax or kick back and listen to great unique bands while having a brew check it out. I like the warehouse feel of the bar, it isnít stuffy. Spill your beer and it is no big deal. My favorite brewery in Michigan.

I would love to tell you about the wonderful beers I drank at Bells the past few times I visited, but that experience has been overshadowed by a completely negative one.
I donít know how they find their staff, or who manages them, but I have never seen service this lazy and slow before in my life. And to top it off, every employee Iíve came in contact with had a MAJOR chip on their shoulder. Like they were doing me a favor by working there, or that I was lucky enough to visit the place. Unacceptable. This has turned me off of Bellís completely. Which isnít so bad considering Founders, New Holland, Darkhorse and many other breweries that want my business are all in the same relative area. Hell, I havenít tasted an Oberon I liked in over 5 years anyway!

The place is a self service brew pub. You order threw a window and everything is cash only. No credit cards. Beer is served in a plastic cup. Other than that beer is good and food is really good. Retail store is next door which really great

Nice place. Had read some lower eviews about the food before going, but my wife and I enjoyed the sandwich.
If I lived near Kalamazoo, would go there every now and then.

Love going to Eccentric Cafe for lunch/early dinner. Nice and bright atmosphere with many Bellís exclusives. Very casual - great place to go to drink beer (and eat quite good food) for a relaxing afternoon.

this place feels like a middle school assembly hall with slate tile. i have no idea what the fuck theyíre going for at the eccentric cafe, but it fails. a lot of people were TRYING to have a good time, but you could tell that anyone left standing felt awkward as shit. its like a gymnasium thatís 1/4 full with tables, and everyone else has to sort of stand. it wouldnít take a genius to make this place a proper haunt, so i figure bells must be trying to keep people away. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THAT YOU CAN TRY SOME KILLER BREWS THAT ARENíT AVAILABLE OTHERWISE. Bellís India Red Ale was stunning. Same basic flavors as hopslam only redder and more swillable and 7.5% instead of 10%. Iíd buy sixers of that shit all day long. DEAR BELLS. PLEASE BOTTLE INDIA RED AND GET A FUCKING CLUE ABOUT YOUR íCAFEí. thanks. (p.s.-The mural with the dude riding an underwater bicycle-contraption had my stoked, until i got inside. maybe you guys need to trust your guts and run with that steeeez!)
