If you like Bellís Beer, you have to visit the brew pub. The ambiance is lacking, and I agree that the service is middle of the road. Employees forcing themselves to be hippies, and missing the true meaning of laid back. The selection is outstanding, in the bar and the store. Food was middle-of-the-road. Place is cash only. If you go seeking only great beer, you will not be disappointed. You may get lucky and get to try a new or limited brew.

After having a challenging time finding the plae, i was astounded to find out the building i was in was actually the brewery. Unexpected but a delight none the less. All my favorites were consumed (ofcourse). Very relaxed atmosphere with a mix of college students and local beer geeks. The gift/beer shop is worth a visit as well. A must stop if in the area.

This is a beautiful pub with high ceilings, Bell's related everything, and a giant map of Africa. The chess board tables are an awesome touch. My only complaint is they only keep about 6 beers on tap at one time.

So happy I had the chance to visit Bellís Eccentric Cafe. Their Brew were absolutely amazing. I wish bells offered their specialty brew everywhere. I did expect more from their kitchen though.

What a disapointment. I love Bells beers but this place was a waste of time. The atmosphere was a very pretentious and had a forced artsy feel. There are very few tables or chairs. My entire party had to stand and the place was nearly empty. The bartender seemed too busy socializing to be able to do his job.
The beer was great as expected but it as mostly stuff that is easily obtained anywhere in michigan. The only ones I had never had were the cyser (j ok at best), maole porter which was just plain bad, and an ESB which they were out of.
Buy a six pack and stay home.

Great place to visit especially if you time it right with certain events or special beers on tap. They host live music as well which a huge bonus. Large selection of their own beers, but no growlers to go. Food is pretty limited, but decent and not expensive. Prices of beers on tap are typically great and itís a laid back enjoyable place to visit during the day. If youíre near the area or on a beer trip I definitely recommend stopping for a visit.
