Large very cozy cellarbar german style. Fantastic service and food and very cheap. The beers are ordinary standard german styles. They only had 2. A place to recommend to you non-hipsterbeer-friends. I loved it.
A great restaurnt with some (maybe two or three) locally brewed beer. The beers are okey, nothing special. The service was very kind. The atmosphere is great, beutiful cellar resturant. A bit expensive but the food is great. You can listen live, Hungarian gypsy music sometimes.
Seems to be very much on the tourist route. I wasn’t that impressed by the beers, a bit like the big regionals in Germany which are so last century now. Try and get the unfiltered version, that was the best. The dark is sweet.
This is a restaurant and we didn’t want to eat. We were asked if we had reserved a table and we explained that we really were interested in the brewery and beers. The General Manager (Daniel Papp) was called and he kindly authorized us to stay! There was some kind of event of and the staff were entertaining and playing music for amazing dancing ... then went back to work! Brilliant! We enjoyed the beers, very much.
Visited on June 21, 2014. The brewery was closed this day, but no problem to sit down at a table in the huge restaurant to have a few beers. They had the "light" and the "red" on tap. No problem getting a 30 cl instead of a 50 cl beer. Nice looking place, nog a huge beer selection though. Worth going for the beers, can’t say anything about the food though, we didn’t eat. The toilet with smoking forbidden smelled of nothing than cigarette smoke.
Indeed an awkward place for just a drink. Though the menu looks good it does seem expensive for what you get. The service is a bit bullish and not patient. Probably understaffed. There were just a few people and it was pretty loud but the atmosphere is very nice. Only four beers, which aren’t they good, poor service, nice atmosphere, expensive food and generally I don’t want to stay long.
