Not really worth the trip, except maybe for a couple of bottles of Berliner Kindl Weisse. At that point, probably any supermarket would do.

Beer selection is the same as in any Kaufland supermarkets in Leipzig area. Typical German beers - pils, weizen, dunkel with some emphasis on local brands. You can find those in any Kaufland in Leipzig, not need to go here if you in the south Leipzig. Kudos to Kaufland in Reudnitz (Leipzig), though. In 2008 they used to sell Ritterguts Gose for a while.

Big supermarket with a big selection of beers for Germany. Iíve been to Leipzig once a year 2005-2010, and every time Iíve brought home as much as I could. I was here in 2010 and bought 27 bottles of new beers, and still left at least 10-15 other new ones that I could have bought. Iím guessing the total selection is around 150 bottles. Just about all of it is German, and most of it is local. The prices are great. 27 0.5l bottles cost 15 Euros. To get here, take the tram.
