Ambiance is a dark diner, thought it was kinda cool but I could see it turning some people off. Service was not amazing but decent giving how crowded it was. Selection was nice, especially for such a small place. Did not eat here so left that out. Good selection but high prices so avrage on value.

OK, so I’ve been here before but they weren’t open. They open at 4 pm. Tho on a busy traffic street I had no trouble finding a parking space. Also, even tho the beer selection is mostly popular mcro tap items, I did find a beer I hadn’t tasted after 2.5K! This is your typical old style small steel town bar. It must have survived the stree expansion out front. Interesting cultish type of patrons. Good prices on happy hour. Not crowded but all the seat were taken. I liked. Girls were friendly.

A small joint for sure, and seemingly crowded by hipsters at the moment. Nice tap selection with decent bottles. Not much in the way of food, but what is offered is fairly tasty. Not one of the best beers bars in Pittsburgh, and Sharp Edge is right around the corner almost. However, they do throw one Hell of a barley wine festival each February - "Hell With the Lid Off", which was terrific.

one of my regular spots. cool retro vibe with the wurlitzer jukebox that always seems to be playing big iron by marty robbins. service is usually slow but extremely friendly. the selection is small, but generally great. they’ve only got about 30 different beers, but once in a while you can find a great onejust a few weeks ago, i had a cantillon bruocsella grand cru here, food is great for pub fare. the mac and cheese is the best i’ve ever had. in all, a pretty cool place for beer consumption.

First time here. Definitely retro, 50’s diner feel. Went on Punk night, so it was loud and I felt a little out of place. Nonetheless, the beer selection was a bit of a surprise. Good stuff on that list, and I’m going back to try more. The waitress wasn’t interested in talking beer with me, but she was able to answer a question about their Rogue bottles, that’s all I could get out of her though.

Good food. Decent beer selection.
