I have no idea how this place stays in business, every time Iíve been here Iíve been one of maybe 4 customers tops. That said it is a cool place, strictly a pub, no food other than some pretzels, and an interesting mix of beer. Iíve seen things like Hopslam on, which I just missed. But then right after that they will put on a keg of Dortmunder Gold. So it can be hit or miss, nice bottle selection, some belgians and other goodies. Just donít expect a beer expert behind the bar.

Kennedyís is located in a strip mall on Polaris Ave near Old State situated shared with a pet store and baby store. Plenty of storefront parking to be found.

While not much to look at from the outside, the inside is really nice. Definitely a family Irish pub feel with a fireplace, dart boards and a comfortable mix of wood tables, booths and a handsome bar.

Good beers are definitely a priority here, although they donít carry a large #. On draught is an eclectic mix of GLBC, Otter Creek, Stella Artois and others. One can find brews by Flying Dog (including the Gonzo Imperial Porter, which the bartender had purchased of his own accord), Anchor, and GLBC etc in bottles.

As noted above the service here is great. The bartender was very interested in beer and they have a beer club here as well. Itís free and you get a big glass and bottle opener for completing the tour.

A person who wasnít familiar with the immediate area would probably never think to stop here but it is definitely worth a visit. Being right down the street from From The Vine is an added bonus.
