Glad to spend a couple hours here on a recent biz trip. If I lived in Jacksonville, I’d want to be here all the time. Nice neighborhood vibe, eclectic clientele, unpretentious surroundings, and an absolutely massive tap list. Waiter was super cool, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and I’m happy I just went with dude’s recommendations throughout. Didn’t have any food besides some sweet potato fries, but my host assured me the menu was tip-top pub grub overall. Really impressed overall.

Visited during RBWG JAX. Great atmosphere, lots of good to world class beers on tap, spot on service. The food I had, their chicken wings were really tasty. I understand they had some special beers on for RBWG, but I’m an convinced they have a great selection normally. I was surprised Jacksonville had a beer spot this impressive. Definitely worth a visit or two.

Busy, bumping gastropub with a shit ton of good to very good taps in downtown Jax. Visited as part of the RBWG Jax welcome dinner so may have gotten a little bit better than normal treatment. They also had tapped many special beers for our coming. Only had potato skins to eat which were solid but had heard some good things about others’ food. Small taster snifters available on just about everything which was killer for ticking. Would def return when back in town.

Top notch, place in a bit of a dodget neighborhood. These people were able to give us great service even at the meet-up for RBWG 2013. Food was great and selcetion grand.

World class. Came here for the RBWG 2013 welcome dinner. In pretty much every regard this place is outstanding. The draft list is massive, with something like 85 beers pouring. On our visit they put some extra special beers on, which was great. The bottle list, too, is extensive; I believe it spans more than 50 pages. Great food options, well made, delicious. Prices on beer and food are exceptional. The service was impressively attentive and efficient. Spending the evening here was easily one of the best beer experiences of my life.

Favorite beer bar of all time for me. Huge selection of great beers. Very good food. All at a reasonable price. Staff was very understanding and patient. You gotta stop here if you are in the area. A can’t miss.

RBWG 2013 welcome dinner was here. GREAT selection of beer on tap (84) plus a huge bottle list. The staff was friendly,. knowledgeable and speedy. The place was packed and we never waited for a server. The food was good and fast. A must stop if you’re in the area.
They had a great phone app with the tap list, updated as they changed kegs. A very nice touch.

The RateBeer Winter Gathering Welcome Dinner was held here. Our hosts run what a beer bar should be. Fantastic selection of drafts and bottles, good food, good atmosphere. And the staff is great. A must stop in Jacksconville.

This was the first stop during the RBWG, and it did not disappoint. The selection they had for our event was beyond amazing, and the service was good, as was the food and the value. This is a must stop!

Dinner for RBWG for Welcome Dinner. They pulled out the red carpet for us. The place was packed and I was still able to get beers without headache! ... and they had a bottle of Heart of Darkness! Must see in Jacksonville.
