This was the first stop during the RBWG, and it did not disappoint. The selection they had for our event was beyond amazing, and the service was good, as was the food and the value. This is a must stop!

Dinner for RBWG for Welcome Dinner. They pulled out the red carpet for us. The place was packed and I was still able to get beers without headache! ... and they had a bottle of Heart of Darkness! Must see in Jacksonville.

Typical restaurant/pub feel when you first walk in, with a pseudo-hipster vibe, and a beer loverís backbone. Service was great; very knowledgeable considering how much was on tap. We even had seen our server earlier that day at Underdark release day. Selection was impressive to say the least; more than 80 beers on tap and a bottle list of rare and vintage stuff. Food was great, typical pub fare with a modern American swing. Value was average, what I expected to pay for what I ordered. Overall, a must stop on your way through Jacksonville.

A trendy place. All the taps, but locals comment that there may not be one beer on to have that day. On a main street and in a growing craft beer neighbourhood. I had 4 good stouts, and Brian got his Narwhal. Good service.Prices reasonable.

This place has a ton of beers, including some macros, some imports, and a ton of craft beers. Nice menu with great appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. We were there when it was crazy busy but the service was still fast enough. This is a hell of a beer bar.

My wife and I popped in here on a rainy Monday night and were surprised to see almost every table filled. The location seems to be fairly central for Jacksonville but then again we hadnít gotten a very good sense of the city in our short time here. We sat at the surprisingly short bar - 5 or 6 stools - because it was wide open. The taps are lined up across it, blocking the bartenderís face, and there are a couple tap towers to the right, too. I think it was 85 or 86 in all. Didnít even bother to look at the bottle menu because we found some fun drafts. The food was so-so; stretching it a little for the term "gastropub" when our orders were fairly straightforward pub grub. Reading other reviews, it seems to be all about which items you get, though. The bartender was super nice and knew his stuff. Smoking appeared to be allowed in here, which kind of sucked. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great; lots of beeriana and it felt very lived-in. The draft list was written out on the wall on the right; itíd be helpful if there was another or a bigger one or one closer to the bar, too. Glad I got to stop in this highly-recommended place on my road trip. Iíd also recommend it to anyone stopping through Jacksonville.

This place is excellent for beer. Great selection and a broad one. Wish theyíd put a few more local/state brews in the lineup, but Iíve never left disappointed. The place calls itself a gastropub, but the food is just okay. Mostly just comfort food with an attempt to make it a little fancier. Itís worth eating if youíre there and hungry. In Jacksonville, you should be here for the beer. Hipster wait staff and bar tenders but Iíve never had bad service.

This is my frst stop for dinner after unloading our truck. A great location for beer and food. The beer selection was excellent. They have beer handle taps in the ceiling. I had the taco salad which was excellent but all the food was good. The waitress was very attentive but so busy that we could not talk beer. I look forward to future trips. They plan on expanding due to their success.

Awesome local bar and restaurant with a great selection of beers both on tap and bottled. Steve has done a great job of running this place and the intended restaurant expansion should be good addition. Thanks for the beer tasting!!!
