Thanks to Alberto for showing me this gem. In Ciampino, out of the center of Rome, but worth a visit if you can manage it. Great oldschool wooden pub, plenty of space but could get cozy on a busy night, good outdoor space. Lovely food, mix of Italian classics and nightly specials, and more of a western pub mix. Cool beer selection, often rotating, often featuring new Toccalmatto beers. Instant classic for me, would be ecstatic to have this be my local

Bravo! The new publican reconverted a pub with mainstream beers on tap in a space devoted exclusively to craft beer, in Ciampino, a town with indolent and repetitive attitudes.I pay my respects to the publican and to his challenge. The ambience is nice, and in summer you can drink comfortably on the outside, till 0:00. Food, when I was there, was not recherché, but good. About beers, don’t expect to find a gose, a geuze, a sour ale on tap; well, I think I never found an imperial russian stout or baltic porter too... Ok, the publican is actually pils-ipa-tripel oriented. Bottles are mainly from a well known roman distributor, easily available elsewhere. So, what can I say... King Arthur, you’re doing good, but please, consider it a beginning, not the arrival.
l’unico posto dove ho visto fare una spillatura di birra a regola d’arte..ognuna con i suoi tempi e temperature..ottimo servizio! un posto veramente carino.. dove si fanno due chiacchere in compagnia di una buona birra artigianale...
