Personally? 2nd best beers in Anchorage after Midnight Sun. Not sure why this place isnít getting the reviews and respect it deserves. People shouldnít be deducting points from a small startup brewery for not having food for goodness sakes...or for being in an industrial park...címon...that how all the great breweries start! This pace is making great beers...original and inventive beers...and lots of them...they change a lot of them up frequently too. The King Street IPA is to die for...I flew a couple of 16oz 4-paks back east. This is an incredibly hoppy beer (west coast all the way) when drank fresh. I would suggest no older than 2 week...maybe 3 at the very most. I samples all of their beers when I visited and was most impressed with the IPA of course...but also the Oaked Chardonnay Wit (thatís inspired), the Crossroads Centennial Ale, and the Kolsch. If you are a hardcore craftbeer traveler like me...include King Street in your visit.

No food service here at all. I had 4 samplers. I like that you can get any or all as samplers, not just a fixed few. The Pilsner and lager really suprised me, both were excellent!

Quick stop for a flight. Small taproom, popcorn machine. Beers are unexciting, but itís worth a stop if youíre in the area.

Industrial park brewery with tap room. Free popcorn is always a plus. The beer lineup is pretty boring and the execution only OK, so itís not really a mandatory stop. Maybe if youíve maxed out at Midnight Sun, or if youíre spending a lot of time in the area. But otherwise, I wouldnít prioritize it.

You really need a car to get here as King Street light industrial area is located 5-6 miles south of downtown, but itís worth it since Midnight Sun is located a little to the west. King Street Brewing Co has a small tasting room attached to the front of the brewery, even with just a dozen people inside it felt a bit cramped. It didnít have much of an atmosphere, just plain walls and modern garden furniture. Still, theyíve got a decent line-up of regular beers and you can also buy their bottled and canned beers for onsite or offsite consumption. Visited: 2014-07-30

Finally made it over to the brewery. Very clean and new. Service was of great help and you can get samples for $1.25, which makes it easy to try all their beers before deciding on a pint or growler. They also have swag to purchase and you can also enjoy on of their blends. The only downside is seating, there only a few 4 person tables, so it was standing room only the day I was there. Worth a visit if your hitting this side of town.

Located in an industrial/warehouse area. Once inside itís very nice, new and clean. They are subject to Alaska brewery laws so, no bar, no tv, 36oz max to consume on premises, has to close at 8pm. There is a counter to order beer and few tables to sit at. Selection is the standard King St line up, with more interesting beers to come, hopefully. Decent value for 12 oz pours, growlers and kegs. No food, but usually some snacks are out. Overall a cool place to have a beer and maybe take home a growler.

Super beers for such a young place. The brewers and beer tender where awesome. Super tour and be sure to watch these guys grow to a major force in Alaska. Great Job King Street. If your hungry bring the food they do not have food other than some bar munchies.
