Lovely 16th century inn a few steps from the centre of Abergavenny. Nicely decorated and well cared after inside and outside. Good athmosphere with (really!) low beams (Mind your head, even if you’re only 1,60m tall!). Traditional and elegant. Food menu could have more local dishes, but the fish and chips and the fish pies we had were superb. 3 real ales from their own brewery on tap, as well as the usual suspects. Skirrid is available in bottles to take away. Outside sitting aread. Highly recommended.
