Ok Gregor, you asked for it. The Kings Head in Fritwell is a happy, friendly locals pub with the odd outsiders visiting. The beer is always in great nick with a good bottled range if you can get the barman to go and fetch it. Some of the cask beers have to be fetched from the cellarso donít worry about making him work for a living. Interesting guest beers to be had. The seating is higgeldy piggeldy in a non organised way adding to the homely feel, if the owner gives you any gip feel free to give it back. Havenít managed to get to a bottled beer fest yet as he only does them when Iím away. The resaurant is leased out to some asian folk for that authentic feel. Comments are correct about the staff and the car park needs relaying. Outside patio with brilliant apiary in the walls of the next house. Truthfully, a great village local, much improved by the present incumbants.
