Very touristic, hence overcrowded place. However, they do know how to brew the beer - almost never was dissapointed with any type that I’ve tried.

5th Oct 2014: lunchtime session with Goulash. Brewing equipment on show across the courtyard, we were in the white walled room just lower than the more touristy ’brew-room’ across the way. Three beers on tap, all duly tried. IPA was the best. Basic and very tourist minded in operation and prices. Did not really take to the place.

Top of castle hill. Nice beers. Excellent food. Rather monastic setting. Cheerful service. Take a map!

Best goulash in Prague, very good service, nice variety of beers, tried them all except weizen. Nice beer terrace in the court yard. Sausages in oily paprika beer sauce were divine. Very good beers, IPA especially. Highly recommended.

Visited in 2009. Very nice location and fairly close to the castle in case you are there touristing. They had the best czech beers on my visit.

Beautiful location and cozy decor right in Stahov Monastery grounds. They brew their own beer and I smelled the wort cooking while I tried their Polotsmave(Amber/Vienna) and their Tsmave(Dark/Dunkel/Black) beers. A little more expensive than most places geared toward Czechs, b/c this places packs in the tourists. I did not eat. A solid place to see for the Beer Nerd Tourist.

Another ’must visit place’ for a beer lover.
Beer and food is good, you can sit outside or inside. Very good options on the menu, some of them made by beers..
Really loved this places beers and atmosphere. As an homebrewer, eating and drinking with the smell of wort was great.

Nice place next to the castle. Great to take a break from sightseeing. Can get very busy/touristy.
