On top of a hill with the Strahov Monastary. A bit of a hike, but if you are doing the whole tourist thing, it’s not too far out of the way from the Prague Castle. Solid house beers offered on tap and in bottle, nice beer garden, a bit touristy and busy. Staff was friendly enough. Decent prices.

Fairly large hall which was half full when I entered. They had couple of interesting and quite good seasonal beers on tap. Both amber and IPA were good and smoked porter even better. Worth visiting.

Located on top of the famous hill every tourist in Prague bravely climbs to see all the treasures of the capital, this venue actually consists of a restaurant and a brewpub, the beer being available in both. Wooden benches and tables, cozy interior. The selection includes five Svatý Norbert taps - all of them featuring very decent beer - and some few bottles, also of own produce. The staff are very friendly and ready to offer advice regarding the beer they sell. Delicious food. I had a pot of their spicy stew and just devoured it as if I had not had anything to eat for a month. Pricey for the country, but the quality and the location justify it. Will gladly be back again one day.

Popped in to try the beer, service wasn’t as good as a lot of other places and a bit slow. Modernish brewpub, a little pricey compared to other places but is in tourist central. Beers on tap from the brewery were OK, not world beating but with the Matuska place closeby it’s worth the visit.

Good place with parking facilities, nice food & not very tradditional for Prague approach to brewing. Taps are nice, if you are lucky try Christmas IPA.

Forced my two female Swiss roommates to accompany me here after going to the castle. I’d promised them somewhere cool to drink beer and luckily it delivered. The staff and others drinking there were all friendly and some of the beers available were pretty good too.

great location close to the castle. I really liked this place. Good beer and food was very good too. At first we walked into the smoking side, which is the obvious choice, but we were pointed quickly to the none smoking side, which is opposite the smoking side. The smoking area definitly has more character than the none smoking area, which is a bit bland. Beers here were really good though. They had four of their beers on offer. The standard offerings are a pale lager, a dark beer and the IPA. And then they always have a special brew, which changes regularly. In our case it was a IIPA, which was great too. I mentioned already, food was really tasty too. They also offer some bottles for take away, but for some reason, those are way more pricey than the tap prices, so not worth it. Definitly recomennded, especially since its in a great location for tourists.
