This was one of the highlights of my trip to Prague. The people were extremely nice, the food was great, and the beer was tasty. The ambiance of the monestary surrounding the place is incredible, and it is only a short walk up the street to the castle. They had three beers on draft, and the smoked porter available in bottles. Everything seemed rather inexpensive, but maybe slightly more for Prague standards. This place was great.

Clean well kept bar in the upper heights of Praha. Pretty touristy all in all, in the feel (and on your check). The service is quite amiable however, the food is tasty (I had some trout - large servings). The beer is very good, good enough to make it a must visit.

At the top of the hill in Prague situated in the grounds of the monastery. The walk (or pilgrimage) makes the reward all the sweeter. The reward being the fantastic Svaty Norbert beers. They rotate at least on seasona quarterly and always on offer is the famous Swaty Norbert IPA. The food looked great but I didn’t get involved. The views on your way up to it are the best in the city which is just one more reaon why you should make the effort to get here if you’re in town. A must.

Brewpub plus restaurant (the latter having been a refectary I believe) on a hill with beautiful view. Service was rather matter-of-fact but it suited the place. The goulash was very good. And the beer was terrific. Three regulars, always one seasonal. In particular I was surprised a vienna good be this excellent and their IPA... oh well, a must try!

Regular 4 types (Jantar, Dark, Weisse and IPA) often supplemented by seasonal beers brewed at least once in 2 months. Its variety goes from Brown Ale to Weizenbock and Christmas Doppelbock. Each year Brewmaster tries to come up with something else than previous year. Perhaps most striking is un-compromising quality of the beers served here. Never had any bad surprise. Out of Prague Brewpubs my No. 1.

Nice brewpub with ourdoor seating, located just a little above the Prague castle. Tram 22 have a stop closeby. 4 beers on tap, all very good and the IPA is excellent. Good food, freindly service. A little expensive for Prague.

Direkt am Strahov-Kloster. Super Blick über ganz prag von hier Oben. Nah gelegen an der Prager Burg. Perfekt um nach einer langen ansterengenden Sideseeingtour ein leckeres kühles Bier zu guten Preisen zu bekommen. Das Bier ist durchweg super und selbst gebraut. Viele wechselnde Sorten und eins der besten klassischen Amarillo-Cascade gestopften Ipa´s. Leider recht wenig Platz und gut besucht. Super böhmische Küche mit guten Preisen. Ein Muss für jeden Pragaufenthalt.

small little place but lots of outside seating, nice selection of there own beers,which iwas very impressed with . All told im really pleased id stoped by here on my second Prague visit and it would make it onto any futrure visit.

Visited July/11. Nice place for a beer/food stop while visiting sites around. Great Beers (3 listed in Czech Republic top 10), I liked the IPA (English style) and the Dunkel.

Very nice brewpub near the castle. Food is vey good and local beer is wonderful: tried the amber, IPA and dark: all of them were excellent.
