I liked this place even with seeing old beer. Some nice stuff like a cigar city behind the counter. Beer geek staff decent prices and nice selection.

Bear in mind my score is not relative to FL stores, but rather worldwide...if this is better than most FL beer stores, then I feel bad for the folks who live here. The main problem here is the old age of the beers. It’s easy to get excited at first by the import selection (the US micro selection is relatively thin, even the FL stuff), at least if you don’t care about freshness. Most beers are 2-4 years old (!!) here, and even with US beer it was challenging to find much that was before their BB date (and those were very close). So while I took a chance on a couple of undated Gaenstaller beers (both of which were oxidized beyond being rateable and got dumped down the drain, sadly), a 4-pack of 2012 Rayon Vert (hilarious, right? but one of the few non-lambic beers that can hold up for this long...I still have a couple in my own stash at home), and a couple single bottles of FL micros, I left here extremely disappointed. A 6% Mystic saison from summer 2014? Uhhh, no thanks. There certainly are lots of beers to choose from, don’t get me wrong, but almost without exception they are ancient and rotting. Reminds me of the high rating of Sergio’s in Louisville, KY, another place that specializes in stale bottled beer. There is honestly no reason to come here unless you like old, stale beer.
Made it over here to load up for my hotel room. Awesome service and breaking up any six pack was fantastic, so I was able to bag quite a few Florida brews. Also had some nice harder to find bottles sitting around. Very nice selection of international beers and making me want to go back to get some more stuff before my trip is over. Also, got a 5% discount with my purchase of a bunch of singles.
Visit here if you are looking to get some ticks. They have lots of beer but the focus is more international and us beers. There really aren’t that many local beers from Florida, there is Terrapin than Florida beer. They allow all 6 packs to be broken apart, so you can get lots of things to try for cheap. However, if you’re looking for some rarer stuff or Florida centric store there are probably better options out there.
Visited Dec. 28th 2014. Wanted to buy a few bottles for Canada, this was the closest and best store close to my motel in Florida Mall. Top rated in Orlando, it has a great selection of imports and national brands, lacking a bit in local in my opinion. Plenty of parking and next to a Sedano Supermarket (go there for Latino food), Good service, decent price,,,continue the tradition of Knightly Spirits well.
I am often disappointed by highly rated bottleshops on my travels, but this one was pretty solid. Cold as shit inside; even beer on what looked to be open shelves was in fact pretty cold. Interesting. Kind of all over the place, some in coolers, some in boxes on the floor. One of those places where you can break up any six pack you want. Good and eclectic selection of beers, lots of Italian stuff for some reason. I would definitely stop back when looking for locals or just something unusual.
A party store in Orlando with with the best beer selection in town (at least that I found). Prices were good too, although it would have been nice if they gave you a discount for building your own six pack since they do sell singles. A good representation of styles from all over. The place to shop if you want carry out in Orlando.
Ambiance: Slightly smaller version of a Total Wine and More. Not a hole in the wall by any means. Well lit. Wide aisles. Two and a half aisles (including a cooler case) devoted to beers. Service: Very friendly staff, and seemed eager to show me the local stuff once I told them I was from out of town. Selection: AMAZING. Lots of local stuff I can’t get in Maryland, and plenty of stuff from elsewhere. Lots of rarities, too. Saw bottles from my last 7 or 8 shipments from the Rare Beer Club. Food: N/A. Value: AWESOME. Bought a case of singles that would have cost me $120 in Maryland or DC, easy; was about $90 here. Overall: If you’re taking a Disney trip and have a free hour, it’s well worth a stop. Highly recommended.
