One of the best beer bars in Philadelphia. Huge selection. They constantly let you know what’s coming up on which taps, which is a detail you don’t often see. This also shows that they plan their beer selections as well. Food is amazing at a decent price.

Ive been here a handful of times but finally getting around to the rate. Open, one room bar. Bar is a U shape in the middle of the room with tables around the perimeter. Outside seating is also available. Barkeepers tend to be friendly and quick when you need a refill, which is nice. I’ve had the burger and it is top-notch, though I’m not a fan of the fries (never been a fan of shoestring fries). Always a few taps that aren’t anywhere else local and generally at least one or two I’ve never seen. they play the tunes a bit loud but that’s to be expected at this hipster hangout. You’ll see a couple guys trying to read a book amidst the loud music and crowd nice because they are too cool. Good place.

Went for Sunday Brunch. 23 taps, not particularly Philadelphia biased. Had a couple beers I’ve never seen before on tap. Good printed beer list showing what’s on and what’s up and coming, as well as price and glass size. We had the breakfast sandwiches - they were good, but for $9.50 I’d expect a bit more than one slice of scrapple. Wife go her’s with t-bacon and it was a generous portion. Specials sounded real good too. Very hipster - there were more neck-beards, thick glasses and iPhones than I’ve ever seen. Ambiance was a bit noisy. Service was top notch and VERY friendly. We will definitely be going back here.

Nice place right off 95 with a cool ambiance of brick walls and neat modern lighting, the bathroom had big wrenches for the ada toilet and old side view mirrors above the sink ... the big U shaped bar was nice and clean with two tv’s and a friendly atmosphere ... the server was very into beer and the tap list was current on a printout ... the food was decent had the beer can chicken sandwich which was huge .... 23 beers on tap; the list had a little of everything and had a nice twist of american micro and some hard to find good international brews .... definitely a place to enjoy and check out for a price that didn’t hurt too bad either

Went here with Linh a few times back when we still lived in Philly - cool draft list - everything is always rotating and they have a ’coming up next’ list in addition. Friendly servers - questionable area.

Located in Fishtown at the corner of East Girard and Montgomery Avenues, Kraftwork is a decent spot with a good taplist I have visited twice now. Boxy but comfortable, the place has a square bar in the middle and shared tables around the outside. There seemed to be a nice mix of clientele each visit, although white, mid-twenties seemed most common. Seating was at a premium on both weeknights I visited but the wait for space was not unduly long. There were two very busy bartenders who were pressed to keep up with the demand and seem to have little time (or interest) to chat. The wait staff however was ample and timely. There were 14 taps with a nice variety of options. A nice touch was the menu which showed what beer was next when each on the menu kicked. Prices seemed about average and fair. Food was a decent - not a huge set of choices but some interesting ones alongside pub mainstays like burgers. I don’t think anyone at our table was ecstatic but no one left hungry or angry either. The "beer can sandwich" seemed to be the winner at our table of eight. I would note that the architecture and the volume of the music conspire to make this a place where you may have to go home hoarse if you need to talk to anyone who isn;t right next to you. All-in-all this was a decent place with good beers and one I would revisit, although not as a first choice.
